This I don't get. I can understand the TV Gaiking being made and put in the GE line, but there hasn't been a EVA related Anime in very long time. Besides there's a perfectly good EVA-01 in the SOC line plus you can buy five of it's "brothers".

Could it be that Bandai has developed a Action Man kinda body which can accept "costumes" like a Eva or something.

It looks like the idea of this is that you can see the artificial human that is inside the eva.

BANDAI seems to be competing w/ TAKARA by facing Souchaku Henshin and this model against Microman. It also seems that the EVA armor can plug onto the human frame.

Wow this is good news especially for those collectors who are just started collecting SOCs. I also love Evangelion and i think now is the right time to start my EVA collection. got to save money for this EVA releases. Nice picture also of the SOC Gunbuster in the background.

It would be REALLY cool if they use the rubberized covers over all the joints, AND had the purple painted diecast metal parts for the armor; combining features of the Perfect Grade model with the SOC version. That would be the ultimate!

nice improvement would be using the revoltech joints (ratcheted) in this model.

It would be nice if Toybiz would release their version of EVA-01. It would be poseable in every way possible.

Will this eva have any die casts?! The prototype doesn't seem to suggest so. and will there be any size difference compared to the SOCs?!

there is some similarity with the third body of the Saint Cloth Myth of Saint Seiya, no

yeah, the joint system looks similar. but how can this be? would we expect now other future releases to both come out in soc and the chogokin line? that would be expensive, and may produce confusion with which version is better

HellHound (or anybody else),
Little off question but... Is Saint Seiya third body a new type that's coming out or has it been already implemented with new final bronze cloth series?
Thanks

I would like to see some of the super robots with more articulation. The SOCs are rather stiff.

woah that figure looks fairly big.. in comparison with gunbuster in the background.

It does look big, but it could just be a blown-up prototype. That's not unusual.
If it really *is* going to be that big, it will probably have very little diecast content. Also, it looks like the arms will be able to extend outwards sideways, which would rectify the SOC's biggest articulation problem.
