i have been watching the gravion anime and it is exactly the kind of robot that should go next in line on max factorys max gokin line. max watanabe would be the one to do it - he is not a f*g like mcfarlane! it really is the kind of figure that would bring out the best of his genius! it would be heavy, colourful and full of detail! it would be awesome to see it placed side by side gggg and godannar! i know she already made it but i am not much into she stuff even tough i have great respect for their work! check it out here: broadband.ocn.ne.jp/bandai/img/gravion/mecha_07.jpg

Amen brother! I agree 110% on this. I was thinking the same thing just last week. If anybody should do Gravion it's for sure Max Factory. Gravion is Max Factory's kind of figure design being newer and more complex geometrically. If Max Factory did Gravion it would look so kick ass.
I'm surprised that none of the die cast companies have picked it up yet.
The SHE figure is nice, but no shelf presence, too small, too expensive, no metal..etc.

Hey, I just sent the suggestion for Gravion to Max Factory! I found this spot on their website maxfactory.cms.drecom.jp/contact.htmlI have no idea what this says, but it looked promising, so I wrote a little suggestion in English concerning a Gravion figure. I hope it can be read and that this is the right place to send it???

It seems very coll but oyu have to see it in your hands before saying something more yeah ur right absolutely. MF did right with godannar, hope if max wud get daimos, we'll expect the same level of quality and articulation. woohoo! hmm, and improve the paint too of course.

Hmm this is an interesting idea, but the downside would be Gravion wouldn't transform. If they ever did it it would most probably be like the GGGG, a solid diecast action figure.
I wonder how Maxfactory is doing nowdays? It's been all too quiet after their Godannar release, supposedly they were going to do TV GGG but I think it got scrapped when they announced the Max Gokin Garland as MAx Gokin03.
Now even the MF Garland is in limbo. There was a scan of the Max Factory Gunsword "Dann of Thursday" figure a while back but I think it isn't part of the Max Gokin line(no diecast... unless I mistranslated or skipped the text I read in a Chinese hobby mag).
Last time I checked all the images on MaxFactory's site are of female statues. So is the MaxGokin line still kicking?

I got a letter back from Max Factory this morning! Check it out.

Hello Eric,
Thank you for your e-mail.
We sincerely appriciate that you and your friends take time to think which item next Max Goukin should be.
We'll consider your idea for the Max Goukin series.
We thnak you for your support!
Best regards,
Megumi Miyahara Good Smile Company / Max Factory _____________________________________________________
It's not much, but at least they responded, and really quickly also. As for the not transforming issue. There's always the possibility that they would change the status quo, but I would be more than happy with a solid diecast figure. Their GGGG is still my favorite looking one out of the bunch.
I guess it would be cool if CM made Gravion, but it probably wouldn't look that great. Maybe a little chunky, odd proportions, and not much poseability..
I don't know. It's kind of a toss up for me, but I think I would lean towards Max Factory.

Max Factory's the company you want to do a diecast toy of a robot if price and transformation are non-issues. By sacrificing the ability to transform, Max Factory doesn't have to make any proportional concessions like, say, CM does with their stuff (whose offerings look pretty mediocre IMO). For instance, the Max Factory GGGG lacks the transformation gimmick that CM's has, but I find the MF GGGG to be light years ahead of the CM one in terms of sculpt, and I'll take that compromise anyday. So yeah, Gravion would be nice in the Max Gokin line, but certainly not before a regular GaoGaiGar and Garland... and a Mazinkaiser re-release for that matter .

i think when it comes to characters like gggg and gravion there really is a point in offering a nontrasforming figure but with that perfect sculpt. you always loose something of the character when you want everything . cms gggg is very good and it transforms but mf gggg is a landmark! yes you heard well a landmark! i have just thought about it and makes sense. there wasn´t anything like it before! the packaging, the detail, the diecast, the gloves... mf opened the way for fewture! when i first got into this i was mainly interested in transforming toys but nowadays i prefer stuff like mf and fewture getter or even aoshima daishogun! those kind of figures bring something else to a shelf that you can´t find somewhere else. perhaps people regard non transforming toys as st versions? not very big(godaikin size) and non transforming?

A lot of it depends on the figure though. For example, a non transforming Voltes V wouldn't be that impressive because although he's a nice figure, I don't think he's got enough bravado to be a single non transforming figure. GGGG and Gravion do. Most newer chogo designs were really made with the combined figure, end result in mind and not so much the separate pieces, but that's just imo.
