I'm not taking about the GX-08MA Mazinger Angels or GX-MAW Snow White Aphrodai A.
I bought all 3 issues of the original GX-08 Aphrodai A: the 1st issue (which I bought for the friggin' inflated E[vil]-Bay price), the Hong Kong Mazinger Z/Aphrodai A Boxset Edition, and the current reissue.
Anyhow, with the printing on the box, there are no differences among all 3 issues (even with the date of production and ISBN). However, the stickers on the 1st issue and current Japan market reissues are different: the 1st issue has a the Dynamic Bear character logo while the Japan market reissue has the newer circular Dynamic logo.
The contents, however, are different - well, that is, with my purchase of the Hong Kong GX-01R Mazinger Z/GX-08 Aphrodite A Boxset Edition. The canopy for the GX-08 Aphrodite A that's in the Hong Kong boxset has a light blue tint similar to the GX-08MA. In contrast, the canopies for the 1st issue and current Japan market reissue (okay, the ones with official Dynamic stickers) have a clear, translucent quality.
My question to fellow RJ members who've also bought all three GX-08 issues is whether you also noticed the same situation with the canopy in the Hong Kong Boxset Edition. Thanks!

Thanks for the headsup Roboto, I was curious about differences in the reissues, although I'll probably skip this one since there aren't any major differences/improvements(like in the case of the reissue Gx03 compared to the previous reissue) I also heard that the reissue Gx01R has some poor quality control(paint scratches here and there) compared to the original release. Can anyone confirm this? Gold

I was going through my stuff and I wanted to note that there is a slight difference with the text on the back of the box of the reissue. Look at the layout of the text..especially the phone numbers on the bottom. Different font sizes. Also, the first issue has a "white" warning label while the reissue has this label in "yellow". Lastly, the 1st issue sticker, as mentioned, is not a "bear" but rather the 'ol "Puss n' Boots character" that Toei(?) used to use. Just wanted to point that out. I say, you have a Very KEEN eye for those things.
Makes me wonder if toy manufacturers, aiming for the Collectors market, do these things- just to see if we can catch 'em all, right down to the fineprint on the box! ;D

I got a GX-01R as a gift... comparing it to the GX-01 original... I think the reissue version looks better. I'm now eyeing a new aphrodai-A soon.
