Hi.
The releases in the SOC line lately are not very interesting to me, though I must say that Gunbuster its a very beautiful peace and so is Ideos. But not good enough for me to buy, because I've never seen the show on TV, so the character means nothing to me.
With the most populars Suppa Robotto from 70's and 80's done in the SOC line, I feel that my wallet only would be opened again to build a good army of villains, like Doctor Hell did.
Some of the villains of Mazinger and Great Mazinger have very good desings and would result amazing figures with the SOC treatment, and in fact are low budget figures (easy to do), like the excellent Doublas M2 (GX-26). There are also very interesting villains fron Grendizer, Gaiking, etc. So, why not pay some attention to them, Banday? A Belgas V5 SOC would be awesome.
Those who will be happy to see an army of enemys of the shelf in front of our Suppa Robotto, let Banday know what you think. A'm sure they visit and read in pages like this.
Best Regards,
Debira X1

I'd really love that! In particular some of the villains from Grendizer are just as good as the main robots!

I'm with ya! My Mazinger bros (Z. Great, and Grandi) get so tired of rockectpunching Garada and Dabulas all the time. They need some new targets. An army of new targets!

Your customs look great! I love the villains, and love the black spazers even more!
Do the villains use mazinger models or figures as a base?

that would be great! Season Finale villian robots might be a good place to start. Getter Robo G's Las battle with the 5 villian(s) would be so awesome to have!
It was Getter Robo G vs a Gattai Robot.

Hey Bandai: I would buy a boxset of two, three, even five or six Go Nagai villains. Hell, maybe even two or three sets!

I wouldn't mind buying the Skull ship of the Boazanian empire and for a beast fighter I would want them to make the beast fighter from the "Butterfly Returns" episode and the last fighetr that Voltes fought in Boazania.

Seriously doubt if Bandai will make more villains in diecast, but I think an enterprising company should see the possible profit in manufacturing plastic or vinyl non-articulated "staction" figures of villain robots, like the figures made for the Masters of the Universe and even Guyver toylines. They may not be as much fun to play with, but they will look great displayed with SOC's and should be cheap to produce.

Yeah they made a Gandal and a King Gori vinyls. But the question is which enemy mech to make and which one is famous enough or has enough fan recognition. Usually the first evil mech to appear is one of the most memorable but there are a few that show up later in the series that make a big impact.

Anybody have a pic of Gandal and King Gori? Maybe one next to an SOC Grandizer for scale?

i would have to say that Mazinkaiser may have the toughest sets of villains out there. i would've liked voltes and daimos to have tougher enemies and enemies who can really bring out the fight out of those two... but the more i watch the anime of Voltes and Daimos, the more i'm begininng to think that they're a bunch of wussies (that goes to voltron, dancouga and the rest...) but Mazinkaiser.. man... this robot was pushed to its limit even though there were only a few episodes of Mazinkaiser... so i would love for SOC to manufacture a whole bag of Mazinkaiser enemies.

Man, you aint lyin there! The 'Kaiser villain robots were voracious fiends! Some SOC renditions of them would be awesome.
From the gang of Mazinger-Z villains, I'd like to see Genocider-F9 get gokinized. *^__^*

(remember this enemy? the armored fish with a laser beam attached to its head.) i used to think that it was a huge challenge for voltes when i was kid... now i guess that we know more, it looks silly and stupid... just a few of volte's episodes that i no longer watch... though he was really challenged at the last episode... i don't know... that's just me...

Villians are cool, albeit they end up dead usually after one episode. But you cna ask the Rider and Ultraman, and Godzilla fans, we buy baddies all the time! lol

One Ashura-Mazinger comin right up! A fellow-member at www.garada.net customized one of his OAV Mazinger SOC figures to look like the Ashura-Mazinger... ...I say, he did a Perfect job! *^__^* zozo-Magengar i would have to say that Mazinkaiser may have the toughest sets of villains out there.... so i would love for SOC to manufacture a whole bag of Mazinkaiser enemies.
