Hey everybody Happy New years. How's everybody doing today? I'm a Newbie here so if i do anything wrong here, my apogiliges, but I have a question about the durability of the SOC Zambot3. I sent an order for the Zambot 3 a couple weaks ago and I read a lot of complaints of the Z3 so I was wondering what are the parts of the robot that I need to watch out for and if so, could i put super glue before hand so the possiblily of it breaking are alil less. I was also wondering about the leg of the zambo ace in robot mode as i heard alot of complants about it breaking, is that part discast. Anyways Sorry for the long post, and any help is appriciated. Thanks alot

I have no problems like that with my SOC Zambot. But the fins of Zambots yellow chest plate bends is a little too easy (it should have been better quality plastic). Overall I really like Zambot. I actually prefer it to Voltes. Though when I first got it I was disappointed, probably because of the hype.

The leg of my little Zambot Ace broke while I was assembling the big Zambot. Be very careful with the little guy. I am still on a look out for an affordable Zambot Ace (they are now more expensive than the whole package).

The question is are you planning on playing with it, or just posing it?

Well Just Posing it for the most part, but at times when I'm bored, I sorta would like to play them around alil. Is this as Study and durable as SOC GX-03 Combattler V? I just got that in last week and when it's combined, it feels like it isn't even supposed to diseage which is so great, so it can be used for posing and sorta play. Hey Mazfan, Is that leg on the Zambo ace discast or plastic, and How did you break it? and is there any tips I can do from preventing breakage? Again sorry for the long post and Thanks alot guys for all the help and if possible more help is appriciated Thanks.

The only concerns you should have is the yellow plastic parts being a little brittle. Also don't stress the hip joints on Zambot, there pretty limited in movement so don't bother moving them around a lot. I also find the wrist joints a little loose and the way Zambot combines could lead to paint scratches.
What I did find is that Zambot has quite a bit of knee articulation so you can pose Zambot in other poses besides the standard "stand there with a stick up your arse" pose.

What do you mean by Agent Edition? Do you mean Asian/Hong Kong Edition?

Oh OK, there's nothing different. They both come from the same factory and go through the same quality check. The so-called "Japan Edition" are SOC's that are sent to Japan and then have a sticker put on it for licensing issues. Some believe that SOC's that are sent to Japan are better in quality so charge more but that's nonsense since I've owned stickered and non-stickered SOC's and have found zero difference between the two.
The only real difference is that some "Hong Kong" editions come with a bonus item like a key chain or items that are available for the Hong Kong market only. I think Zambot came with a glass or plastic cube paper weight or something.
