This is not the official pic, it is another plastic model kit from Aoshima. I just wanted to get this party started.

IT's at least something to look at. I hope the Aoshima Gokin version is similar. But them legs, if the entire Gokin is in diecast, how is it gonna support all that weight? Regardless, I definately want one, just so I can place it next to me Shin Getter 1.

That looks really Siiiiick! I'll bet if it were a diecast figure, the legs would have to be made entirely of dense diecast material so that they can support all the weight of the upper body... ...The forearms and hand-weapons would end with plastic so as not to place any weight-stress on the elbow and shoulder joints, if the figure is to hold a pose. zozo-Magengar

Thank god that I am not a huge Getter fan because I would be backrupt with Aoshima releases--they are all so cool.

Yup, he does look interesting and looks like a good design develpment from Getter Liger ....the price may hold me back though.... Maybe he can use his drill like a cane for extra support superfarterv...hehe.

<LOL> Yeah, unless ya put a kickstand on his leg, he'll have to drill himself into the ground to stand up on his own two feet! ;D zozo-Magengar IT's at least something to look at. what about the big backpack.. even if its made of plactic it will make it top heavy. maybe it will need a stand to help it stand.

i hope it's not made like this getter 2 . This model will not hold its self up. Only if this had a bigger foot area, maybe it would stand without tipping over. I'm more then sure that getter 2 will have a better design

I hate to see Aoshima go the way of like some of the new SOC and Max Factory Gokins and start to use a lot of plastic. For the Back Pack, maybe they can use some other metal, maybe like aluminum, not to the point where its like a can of soda and can dent easily but something light. I guess if the legs are fully cast metal, and not hollow, solid metal, it can give the figure better foundation to balance, And perhaps they can make the body hollow so that the weight can balance. As long as they keep away from using excessive plastic, but still, I will get this when it get released anyway.
