Among the latest batch of hints as to what the next SOC will be, was "hokkamuri no niau aitsu." I'm not sure how to translate hokkamuri exactly, but it's that cloth wrapped around your face and tied at the chin that thieves wear (for people that have seen Ranma 1/2, happousai often wears one) This translates to "that guy that looks good wearing a hokkamuri." In xabungle Iron Gear actually did wear one of those at one point so it seems highly likely that the hint is referring to Iron Gear. Here's a pic kjm.kir.jp/pc/?p=32295.jpgIt's not official yet- just wanted to let you guys knows that it seems very likely. Incidentally the hints are from Dengeki Hobby, and they are 1: A large item along the lines of ideon (that guy that looks good in a hokkamuri) 2: That item we've been waiting for (our homework for years at Nonaka's request) <--- this is thought to be Raideen 3: An unexpected combining robot 4: That hand-to-hand combat robot 5: A silhouette of Dragonar 1 as a tamashii spec

Hmm.... hand-to-hand combat robot?.... Daimos?? Gear Fighter Dendoh? ;D. There have been rumors of Daltanias.. maybe that's the combining robot? It would be sweet if they complete the Tadao Nagahama robots this year. Gold

Iron Gear would be great, I've always liked that design and if #2, 3, & 4 DO end up being Raydeen, Daltanius & Daimos I will be THRILLED! Then all I'll need is Dangard to be made so I can feel like all my childhood favorites have been updated

I actually like Xabungle and Walker Galliar and the kits that are included in the sets , so I wouldn't mind picking up a 3rd mecha from the series.
BUT Reideen and Daltanius we are talking some serious, serious Robots that would surely and quickly find their way into my collection!!!

Hello Bizzio. I'll be in Italy in June and July. Are there any good places to visit for SOC's in Italy?

Nice, I had a little plastic version when I was younger so it's a nice to have a large scale version now. But man it's gonna be another big/expensive SOC at 28cm it's 11 inches tall. Although it's not inscale with with Xabungle and Gallier it looks like there will be extra pieces that looks like a part of Iron Gear that you can pose those two on. Also that Dragonar looks good and kinda makes me wish that it was in the SOC line instead of the SPEC one.
Also does it state that Reideen has been confirmed as a SOC?

No Chen- it says "Next- the hero is reborn" Since the title of the Raideen show uses the same word for hero and this also meshes with the previous hint of releasing what Nonaka has wanted to release for a long time, it would be truly shocking for it not to be Raideen. Japanese fans are pretty much dead certain on it.

It's hard to explain, anyways I hope since I love Reideen (the classic version NOT the new gold plated chicken out now).

The title of the first GGG Final episode is "The King of Braves is Reborn!". In a previous hint, Nonaka said they will release a robot of about 10 years ago... GGG series begun in 1997.

>eclipsevv The robot Nonaka has always been saying he's been dying to release is Raideen. He's never mentioned Gaogaigar. Gaogaigar is also a Takara property. You're right in that Gaogaigar also uses the word yuusha, however. Of course that word has also been used to refer to Great Mazinger and a number of other robots. The key thing here is how this hint matches with the previous hint in the case of Raideen. Japanese fans felt nearly certain it would be Raideen from the previous hint even before seeing this "yuusha" hint. Anyway, nothing to do now except wait and see. I'd put money on it being Raideen tho.

Thanks.
I'd certainly hope for Raideen too... I think GGGG already has a perfect representation in the Max Factory Gokin.
