I just won an Ebay bid for the first Project The Soul of Chogoking book (I only paid about $30--I feel so lucky!). Anyway, they have an ad to get the special edition Zambot Ace in the book. Is it too late to get the guy? I have GX-23 but I am dying to get this little guy (my GX-23 version of this dude broke). What do you guys think? Should I send in the money? If so, how do I do it? I can't read Japanese. Thanks.

Im not too sure.... that book came out ages ago.... And I doubt if Zambot is still available in the market.... unless you wait for the reissue.

I think there was a deadline for submissions. So chances are, the only way to get one nowdays is via Ebay. Here's what it looks like click to view larger images The main differences are the gold parts for the Zambot 3 (the parts for Zambo Ace are still just yellow plastic ) and lighter shade of gray for the gun. I think it's going $120+ now on the secondary market. Gold

Yeah, I think that the expiration was July 2004. Too bad, I really want to replace by brokern Zambot Ace--one of the legs snapped off.
By the way, how do the folks from the second market able to acquire this kind of item? Did they all send Bandai a special proof of purchase?
Thanks for answering my question and for the pictures. You guys rock!
