Has anyone played with Stickfas? I've enjoyed the overpriced set I tried. (Horse and Knight). They seem to be priced too high. -E

Yeah , I found that the nylon took a great deal of model building skills to get right. The black tends to whiten if you don't use clippers or a knife. Poor kids

I love them (and heavily partake in the Stikfans forum over at . I bought 10 of the Black Alpha Male Stikfas via eBay. These were the Singapore models before BanyJ partnered with Hasbro. I've since bought a case (4) of the Omega Knight & Horse, and a Phase 3 case (4 Samurai, 2 Firemen, 2 Green Alpha Males). I've also got a Phase 4 case on order (containing the Mechana Robot, the Delta Boy, and the Police / K9 figures). I've also got a case of the Beta Female & Dragon on order. They've also released info on a Generation 2 Alpha Male -- they'll have additional points of articulation (allowing more flexible wrists and elbows) and they'll be coming with accessories suitable for an Asian Monk. Most people see the figures as blank slates and paint them up as their favorite character from a film or anime franchise - with some unique characters occasionally. Yes - they are a bit pricy (many scoff at $8.99 for a 3 inch black, tan, or grey model). But there are some creative types out there that have made Stikfas stop-action movies and other entertaining things. And then there are the kit-bashers - using the Omega kit to make a Centaur. Others await the Beta Female and Dragon so they can make a Succubus or Dark Angel. And the Horse from the Omega kit already has the appropriate connector points to use the Dragon's wings to make a Pegasus. Lots of run to be had (if you've got as much imagination as you have disposable income).
