Disappointment. Have you ever purchased a toy only to find it is defective. -sigh- I ended up purchasing a Robocon guy who's chest splits apart on a diagonal. He's red with one long arm and one short arm. Deliverd--BROKEN Now I find out (the hard way) that the shoulders on the design ALL tended to break. Rattling chogokin in a box makes me sick. ChogoShards. -E

I know the feeling. I also experienced this, not with a toy though, but with a kit.
I bought the Bandai Queadluun Rau kit. It wasn't that expensive, but it was my first (and my last) Q-Rau Kit.
Got it out of the box, primered, and when I dry fitted the parts, they were OFF!!!
The tow pieces main torso section will not lay flat with each other, forearms also suffer bad fit, and a couple of very brittle joints.
It was a miracle for me to have completed it, but not without spending money for an extra tube of filler putty, and sandpaper. BUmmer.

OUCH!! The only cautionary tale I have is buying a model kit of the Wing Zero Custom which on inspection turned out to be a Chinese knockoff. Nothing fit well, and I ended up tossing the thing. Be careful of getting stuff from kiosk vendors. I'm sure most of them are honest, but you never know. JWM

One of my biggest disappointments came about a year after I had purchased my SOC Grandizer. I discovered that one of the little screws on the shoulders was either missing or defective..and so with no warning the whole damn arm fell off! I repaired it with a vice, a replacement screw, and some creative crazy glue use..but it was never the same.. Every time I look at it, I'm pretty disappointed in the whole thing... more irritating..I actually saw a LOOSE one on ebay but lost the bid..damn..

ARRRRGHHH! I shouldn't have looked here! I've got two items on pre-order from two different vendors. Now my anticipation is tainted with paranoia. And mid May is still weeks away. JWM
