Unless your item is drenched in the sick seller's fresh respiratory secretions, I believe you have little chance of contracting the disease.

I was "thinking" the same thing but just NOT sure. Wasn't the post office going to irradiate some packages or try and steralize mailing? I recall that being an initiative after the Anthrax scare.

i think the goods coming from japan are more safer since japan health standards are very stringent. I don't know about goods from HK I was "thinking" the same thing but just NOT sure. Wasn't the post office going to irradiate some packages or try and steralize mailing? I recall that being an initiative after the Anthrax scare.

i saw an auction on ebay which the seller was from HK. the seller had on the bottom oh his auction pictures of himself wearing masks and gloves packaging his items and listed a link to a SARS info site. i think if i was to buy from him, i'd feel "safer".

It has been pretty freakey. Just the other day I received a tube with poster from HK. Just as I opened the cap there was this rush of HK air out the end.........then I though about SARS......... I hope mail remains safe.

Gentlemen please; Much Ado About Nothing. The News is whipping everyone into a frenzy. I received a Young Mekanda from Hong Kong a couple of days ago. I quickly licked it, shoved it into a shaker and made a few potent Martinis with it. The robot still looks great (and who wouldn't next to a Nostalgic Hero Kikaida and Hakaida), the drink still got my wife in the mood, and no one is sick in my diecast household. It's just the Flu folks at worst; let's not vilify our friends in H.K.
