Ideally, everyone has a few of those special toys in their collection that they never ever get tired of playing with. Which are yours?
Mine:
Power Rangers Astro Megazord Power Rangers Mega Voyager
I just pulled these guys out again tonight and had one heck of a battle. I have lots of toys that I love, but there are times when even Optimus Prime or my complete Diaclone Fortress X won't do it for me. Somehow though, these two NEVER get old to me.

So, Omni Ex, you have the Sazabi- I'm jealous (well, not really) but that's one I'd love to have on my shelf. My candidate here has to be the Wing Zero Custom (Perfect Grade model) It's not so much that I love messing with it, but that I constantly HAVE to mess with it. The darn thing is hard to pose because those silly wings keep it off balance and the metal frame joints don't really keep it from being unstable. If I weren't such a purist I'd just lean it up against the wall, or keep it at attention, but it looks so dramatic in a fighting pose that I just keep at it until I make it work. At that point I usually decide it was worth the trouble, but I'll never move it again. That lasts for a while, then I decide that it needs the arm raised just a little, and I'm into another hour long wrestling match with my mechanical angel. Odd what we consider fun... JWM

Currently the big plastic ones I have, first the 1/48 VF-1, then the DX Sasabi then the DX Wing.
They are huge to begin with, so they easily get attention. Though not much to no die cast content they are still solid. And can handle abuse like any other toy, just don't hand it to a bratty kid hahaha ;D

JWM I don't have the DX WZC...yet, but I intend to buy one next payday. Otaru Ikari was kind enough to who me the toy and I like it, despite it being a suped up version of the Arch Enemy toy. I don't intend to have it doing a dynamic pose on the ground, but I do like to see it sitting high in the air via a display stand to hold it up there, like I did with it's Arch Enemy counterpart.

JWM Do they make gundam stands that can support the WZC PG? That would seem to be the best way to showcase it. It's a great piece, but when it comes to models I'm overly paranoid when it comes to posing them.

Given the cost of a PG model, and the huge investment in time spent building it I can't blame you for being cautious about displaying the thing. I don't know of anyone who makes stands for them, although it would be a great idea. I went looking at several doll shops, and hobby stores for glass display boxes, but couldn't find anything off the shelf that would work. Try a custom glass and mirror shop. I found one nearby and the guy there said he could build me a display at a very reasonable price. Good luck. JWM

Mattel hand-held Football II Oooh, now THAT'S a classic. I just loved to annoy people with the clicking and beeping. I never get tired of playing with my Optimus Prime and (don't shoot me yet) some of my loose Go-Bots from childhood. They have toy crack appeal

I've seen some folks from Macrossworld use them to display the 1/48 Valkyrie, and they are pretty stable. Dunno what they are called though.

Jumbo Machines. I never get tired at launching those fists at the cat. LOL! If a cat kncoked down one of your toys and broke it, they deserve it. But if it's for the sheer fun of it....you cruel, CRUEL man!

I get the most fun posing my G Gundam Master Grade kit, next are my Mazinger Z, Great Mazinga and Getta Robo 1 kits.
I love shooting the missiles of my Aphrodia SOC as well as my Mazinger Gx-01R's.
I also usually play my Yamato Hero Collection bots with my nephew. He is careful not to scratch them though, or out into the dumpster he goes, with his Crush Gears and Beyblades he he he he.

Here's another one-- Optimus Prime. C l a s s i c
and another weird rare-ish toy-- Battle shark Dx from battle fever. The guy shoots out mines, missiles, drops anchor, shoots BF, slices, dices, and prepares your meal for you. O.K. not quite. But it is made to be played with. I luckily got mine used and for cheap in a bulk buy.
