Hi Josh,
excellent report.... Any of these places take plastic? I am particularly interested in Forest Gang. Looks like I could die there and go straight to heaven.....

Great write-up Josh! I'm in awe of how many vintage items were in cases. WOW! But as I suspected, the prices are never give-aways in Japan.
Wouldn't you agree that e-bay auction prices and yahoojapan prices are on a par if not cheaper?

Excellent report! I'm looking at all those pictures and just drooling over my keyboard. I'm planning my first trip to japan for next year and I think this guide's going to be a big help when I'm in Tokyo. One thing it lets me know, I'm really going to need a lot of money and a big suitcase when I'm out there.

Heh, I took an empty suitcase with me ;-).
It came back full.
Hopefully I will expand on that page with more complete directions in the future.

What's the situation at Shimo Kitazawa? I remember going there and there were five shops: Heroes (which I know is gone), Planet X, Omu Rice, the one near Heroes that was upstairs and the one near Omu Rice that had a lot of cheap windups in addition to traditional vintage.
