Does anyone have this Mazinger from Fewture in their collection? Is it diecast? Any pics? Thanks

NO diecast but solid.
Really like the jointed fingers and hope to get the Garada soon.
It is worth the $50 I paid.

I think some one has done a review over alen yen's toybox .. with some very nice pix.
Oh and yes they're fantastic! So posable.. nice weight. Even my boss.. got excited when I showed him it. and he doesn't even know who Mazinger is!!!
Unfortunetly they were supposed two more figures.. and I've never herd or seen anything about them. Sigh I wonder if they decided to stop producing the series.

The last one to come out of the Mazinger 1901 AD series was the Garada. Unfortunately, no other news about the Bossborot, and Fewture allegedly scrapped the line, which means Mazinger's Scrander is dead.

I have the 1901 Scrander. I got it with a special double-pack of 1901 Mazinger & 1901 Garada. Btw, it's called "Nitro Rander". I'll try to dig out my set and take some pics. It's funny, I was just thinking about the silhouettes of Boss Borot and Doublas on the box the other day, wondering if they were going to be released or not. j*ryu The last one to come out of the Mazinger 1901 AD series was the Garada. Nitro Rander?? I gotta see this!!! And behold...the Nitro Rander! As you can see, the NR is fairly bulky and doesn't have the clean lines that the original Scrander does. It reminds me of a Clive Barker version of the Scrander. However, the rusted, industrial look coupled with the "scissors" on the ends are in line with the 1901 series. From a production standpoint, it's rough. The peg holes are really tight and there were a couple of instances where I had to shave the pegs in order to put the parts together. It's also very heavy and upon mounting it on Mazinger's back, he loses a lot of stability. It's a cool piece to have but in my opinion they didn't put out too refined of a product. The Garada is awesome tho, I really love that design. There ya go. Sorry the pics aren't the greatest but my office is dark. j*ryu

Now my Mazinger seems Naked with out it!!!! lol... well, by my count there are the following variations: Mazinger Black/Gold/Silver Mazinger Red/Black/Silver Mazinger Blue/Red/Black/Silver Aflodai Orange/Red Alfodai Silver/Yellow Aflodai Silver/Black Garada Purple/Black/Silver I just posted that link to the 3pk auction...I'm sure that there's someone out there that would be interested in just the Garada or an alternate color variation if you're just gunning for the NR.....good luck! j*yu

So how does the Mazinger feel if there is no die cast? Is it relatively heavy? The pics look great. I'll be headed to the bargaining table night to try to pull out an immediate win. LOL.

Just a quick reminder. That auction's been on for at least 2 weeks now with no bid. It usually means it's overpriced....

It's decently weighted, doesn't feel like it's a vinyl. It's solid plastic all the way through. The joints on mine are sorta loose. The peg holes, like I mentioned earlier, are kinda iffy. If they're not too tight, they're too loose. I don't have these on display right now because of space but when they finally go up, I'll be tinkering with all of those issues. From an aesthetic standpoint, cool designs and nice paintjobs. I don't think they're that great if you're thinking of getting them to play with tho. j*ryu

$150 is a awesome price. I think I spent about $100 canadian Mazinger and Garada seperately! and I don't have Rander!
sigh if you do have the 3 figures released I think you have only 3/5 of the rander!!! BLOWS!!!
so if anyof you don't have any of them I recommend to just pick it up!!!
