Anyone collecting these? I picked up 3 of them and I'm very excited to snap together everything. Theres this one website I remember a guy who likes to mix up the zoid blocks together.. I think this will be my new kick besides SOC members9.tsukaeru.net/ty1_toys/sakuhin/BLOX_EX11.html

Zoids are kind of a love/hate relationship for me. There's a lot of things that I like about Zoids as far as design aesthetics go. In fact some of my very favorite visual toy aesthetic designs of all time come from Zoids. But Tomy's ongoing decision to stick with their poinless motors, and not incorporating articulation is just absurd. When it comes to making custom designs, Zoids are a great way to go. For one, they're really cheap, so you don't feel bad when you buy a few sets, chop them up and glue them, or mix and match etc. For awhile there you could buy Energy Ligers on Ebay for $7.00, so I bought about five of them just to see what I could do. It was great! The blox system is ok, but not real solid when you start making larger things. Here's a good Zoids forum with a nice section on customs. phen0type.proboards47.com/

I see what you mean by the blox.. I finished building Shellkarn blox.. a lot of fun. but a bit wiggly. but I want to try mixing them soon. I got two more to put together after I finished a few stuff for work.
but Ijust checked out the site Xiombarg.. verycool! too bad I didn't hear about that site sooner. that contest they're having sounds like fun.. but I don't even have the time to enter.
oh and you're right about the price.. got each blox for $7 canadian. can't go wrong.
