I love hunting down cheap toyss, especially if they are odd and maybe don't get the exposure of popular or classic toys. We always seem to be talking about toys that cost a hundred dollars or more.. so for a change of pace, how about featuring toys that you bought for less than, say, twenty or thirty dollars at the most? Here's a couple of my favorite figures in my entire collection. I pulled this guy from a close out bin in 1992 and paid $1.99. It was love at first sight. ;D This is a rare figure named Optikk that was made for the almost non-existent lifespan of the "New Adventures of He-Man" that came out about a year after "Masters of the Universe" had closed down. It's the only He-Man figure I own. It's main cool feature is a wheel on the back of the body that moves his eyeball! ![](http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a51/xiombarg001/PICT0002.jpg) This next figure is another great treasure I found two years ago that cost me $8.99 MIB and had never been opened! I freaked out when I found it because I had been trying to hunt one down that included the package for years, and then it only cost me $8.99 was like a dream come true! Anyway, he's called "Dragonne" and is half lion, half dragon from the AD&D toys of the mid eighties. The sculpt is fantastic and I love the intensity of the facial expression and design! He's pretty good size too and has a lot of presence on the display shelf. ![](http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a51/xiombarg001/PICT0004.jpg)

That figure is wack! Creepy as hell.
He'll try to kill you when you're asleep just like that movie "The Puppet Masters"
I'll be careful if I were you Andrewdsz.

Well, it has awesome articulation, but it's kind of weird looking. Then again, all body builders look creepy to me. Thank the Buddha it's not a woman bodybuilder! I will say this though, it would be an awesome figure for customs. I would paint a "super" suit on it, and sculpt a new head out of sculpey. In fact andrewdsz, if you could get me a couple of these guys that would be awesome! PM me if they are still available and if you can still get them.

Ok, here's a couple more. Even though it might seem like I would be joking, and I admit that these are funny figures, but I really do like these little guys. First we have a Burger King kid's meal give away. It's Wishbone the dog in a suit of armor! I love it because it's such a weird context for a dog figure, but makes perfect sense if you've ever seen the show, which is actually kind of good for a kids show. ![](http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a51/xiombarg001/PICT0012.jpg) Next we have another dog figure from Fischer Price. I love it's minimal simplicity. To me it does a great job off emulating the simple joys of life, and reminds me of childhood in general. I actually keep him on my SRW shelf. I assume he's the leader. I also secretly think he's a good luck charm. ![](http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a51/xiombarg001/doggy.jpg)

Hey Xiombarg, nice Dragonne! I love the old AD&D figures, especially the painted artwork on the boxes. Here's my entries: These guys are Mego-like Mexican Wrestlers(Luchadores). From the waist down, they're jointed just like old Megos, from the waist up they're closer to He-Man. Each one comes with a belt, and cloth tights, a cape, wrist bands, and boots (all removable). I know of 3 separate six figure assortments (by 3 different manufacturers). I've got 11 total, paying between $5 and $15@, and these are two of my favorites: El Mano Negro and Tieneblas: ![](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e74/cosmicmuhammed/Other%20Toys/d28def31.jpg) Close up (mask detail): ![](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e74/cosmicmuhammed/Other%20Toys/74224dd4.jpg) In action: ![](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e74/cosmicmuhammed/Other%20Toys/e6c5175f.jpg) Then there's this Weirdo: ![](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e74/cosmicmuhammed/Other%20Toys/270ee8e9.jpg) I believe (if my memory holds)he's the Nightmare Prince from a very obscure Hanna-Barbera cartoon called the Dream Patrol. I got him over a decade ago from a gentleman in Canada abouta decade ago. ![](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e74/cosmicmuhammed/Other%20Toys/264e8521.jpg)
