Wow, it's like this guy has no idea what Microman and Diaclone are. If you're asking why they'd have a camera and all. It's because hasbro took an existing property and crammed a sh*t storyline around it that couldn't make sense at all.

It's funny because it's true.

matt's website is awesome. amusing me for a couple years now: www.x-entertainment.comhe probably doesn't know what Microman & Diaclone are. he does seem to have expert knowledge of Kool-Aid flavors though.

Actually Matt is pretty knowledgeable about toys from the 80's in general...But from a strictly American point of view. His knowledge about Ninja Turtle junk is nothing short of amazing.

Yeah but I can't respect that if it's "strictly American POV"... I mean it's like saying Harmony Gold invented all the designs in Robotech. They didn't. Yes they crafted the entity known as Robotech but they did have source materials to work with... and that kind of limited POV disregards those sources.
That said, I agree about Wheelie... how did he get that Autobot symbol anyway?

I don't think respect is what he's looking for. I mean, he's written a full review for each flavor of Kool-Aid, and with pictures no less! It's all kitsch, or 'tongue in cheek'. Serious articles, but not trying to be taken seriously.

No, I don't think respect is what he's looking for at all. Heck, Spider-Man did TWO separate reviews on CRAYONS! I don't even think the articles are meant to be taken seriously to begin with. But, X-E ALWAYS makes for good reading! Plus to see them 80's commercials again after 20 years...What a rush!

Yeah, I meant 'serious' articles as in well written and good insights..quality entertainment. ;D

I looked a several of his pieces over there. He's good. Almost reminds me of Lileks. Great dry humor. JB would appreciate this site. JWM
