I'd like to get a really big Godzilla. The biggest one I could afford. I don't know how big they come, but I saw a 40" model kit on ebay for around 1000 bucks. I might be able to afford something like that eventually. Then there's a lot of stuff, way out of my price range and I'll just have to be content with pictures of those.

I would say Machinder Robo a.k.a. Mekanda from BULLMARK DX.......I think it is known as casshin dx or something like that...........the box is red in color.........man I wish to find me a C8.5 and up in a box complete...........I have been hunting it for a while ..........I saw one on ebay I think last year or so that was sold for $6000 I think or $6600 I really can not remember the exact figure but it was around there!! I saw it one day late because a friend of mine in NY told me about it when it was over.......it was a good catch for whomever won that toy...........it is worth every penny.

yah that mekanda bullmark DX complete and a c7 box is also my holy grail... well also the jumbo mekanda.. but the DX is more for me. once in a while i see the DX on ebay but cant afford it now, but someday.... someday i will get one. the last one i think i saw last yr went for $5500 so most likely the price range will be from 5k to 6.5k
i maybe a voltes, maz family ang getter family fan, but mekanda seem to be different from everyone ^_^

my holy grail is a Popy GALAXY EXPRESS 999 complete train box set, in minty shape.
these show up all the time but there's always something wrong with them, like broken wheels on the trains, box is badly damaged, styrofoam rot, etc.

Holy Grail meaning something I want but will never attain because for some reason or another: Bullmark DX Menkanda Bandai T28 DX I’d have to sell 20% of my “well-loved” good stash to get these babies or work part-time on top of my full-time job for a few months to a year or sell my winter car, and bus it during the winter months. Then there’s trying to slip these purchases pass the wife’s “bloodhound robot buying sniffing senses” Then of course right after I go though all that pain & suffering Bandai will decide to make an SOC transforming mekanda and a DX 12” T28 which I would’ve been satisfied with in place of the real deal. Its just not worth the aggravation. Yes, I’m the eternal pessimist. ;D

I dunno where to start...
When I started collecting, my objective was to get as many different types of Mazingers I could afford; just to have a "starter" set of sorts.
My first objective was a nice good-sized Maz such as the Le Reve... -Got it.
2nd objective was to have a jumbo Maz; I opted for a used or beatup jumbo Grt Maz which I could modify... -Got it.
3rd objective: any large diecast figure like the Yamato Giant Robo... -Got it.
4rth objective: a Mazinkaiser; I opted to go after the Revoltech kaiser... -Got it. ...I also wanted a bigger kaiser figure, and got lucky with the Yujin Mazinkaiser... -Got it.
5th objective: Miracle Action-figure Deluxe Raideen... -Got it.
6th objective: SOC GX-01R... -Got it.
Now that I have a decent collection (besides other "filler"** figures in my collection). There are many Holy Grails which I hope to acquire someday sooner or later; right now, money's gotten really tight for me these latter days. But I will soon persue my Holy Grails like the hungry wolf chasin after stray sheep...
...Among them are the big 30" tall Mazingers and the jumbo Mazinkaiser... ...these are very Big Black Sheep- I Gotta Have 'Em!. ;D

**By the way... I don't know if the word is used here in our vocabulary-- I thought I'd add a new term to this particular hobby. Hopefully Ed and crew are readin...
Filler (adj): ...a "Filler" is a figure, toy, model-kit, one or many, used to substitute for the figures, toys, and model-kits which collectors Do Not have but are Seeking to Acquire. Example: "I want a bunch of Revoltech figures. But in the meantime, I'll fill my shelves with some Gumbies until I finally get the Revoltechs."
As a "Beginner" collector new to this hobby, I've used Fillers to make my shelves look "full" until I get the figures I really want. This is my "Cheat" method to justify my Lack Of certain items I dream about havin but can't afford right now.
There is absolutely Nothing wrong with this psychological approach; as I'm sure many of us have started our collections this way.
A Filler can also be nicknamed as "Shoe horn", "Wedgie", "Suppliment", "Kickstand", "Babysitter", "Implant", or "The Finger In The Dyyke" ...whatever fits this category. ;D

A sugar pill to trick you into thinking it's the real drug. Toys....drugs.....same. I'd say my holy grails come in categories. The SG-01 T28 was my gokin grail, but that now sits behind glass, and I ogle it when I am here. Regarding Jumbos, I still search for a minty Popy Combattler or Voltes. And regarding Macross, a minty-white 1/55 Bandai Super O still eludes... But honesty, I am not sure it will be a good day if/when they are all in hand. The search is the fun part.
