I think there were two Nakajima's of Groizer X; the one pictured (flying mode) and robot mode, and a diecast of the pilot. These were on sale all over San Francisco back in the late 1970s, from shops in Japantown to some speciality toy/hobby stores, like Jeffery's Toys. The flying Groizer X took two AA batteries for lights (and sound?) -- I never purchased these, because I thought (at the time) that Groizer X was funky looking -- hey, I was a kid!

there were 2 size of Groizer robot and 2 size of Groizer jet mode. The one we see on pics is the smaller. Both big size toys works with battery and make lights. Nakajima also release the pilot (Jo Kaisaka) and 2 little Groizer jet called G-Jet and G-Shark. All five toys are made of heavy die cast and now pretty hard to find in Mib condition.
