Good day
I was browsing toy-wave store and I noticed that sometimes stock ir rare, sold out, or has limited stock. So my question is about inventory. A big toy store like toy wave, if a figure is classed as limited stock, will the system automaticly set to Out of Stock when there is no more item left?
I ask because I'm looking for a Daigokin. And there is a sale right now at Toywave, so I said myself it's time. Grendizer it marked as limited stock. I email them and the answer I got was
-Sorry to inform you it's already sold out-
So I said myself the page will be updated, but it remains Limited Stock. 2 days after I ask them again, this time the answer was:
-Sorry it just sold out at the moment-
I said again the page will be updated, but it's still written Limited Stock. This time I placed an order to see what will happen.
Is it possible that they don't want to sell it because of the sale? Is it really Out of Stock. Why then the page is not updated?
Thanks for the help

Because they're lazy... this is not just Toy-Wave. Many of my hobbies involve ordering stuff on-line and in my experience, often an item that turns out to be sold-out is not updated on a web-site.
It's possible however that by not updating it, they are implying that they can get more... That happened to me at Toy-Wave before and they were able to get some SIC that were sold-out when I placed my order.

I'm still waiting for my email confirmation. I'll see what will happen. Is it long normally?

For Toy-Wave, not long. A few days at most when everything in stock. But for something not in stock, it took about a week or so... Of course, probably depends on the rarity of the item (I know I was pretty lucky).

Yea, it's always just laziness. These inventory systems are not always that sophisticated, and the back-end is not always linked in real-time to the front-end. Someone needs to manually go into the system and update the website... As I was saying in the other thread, a store doesn't make money by not selling its toys. If a store thinks its Sale price is too low, it will end the sale. They can price their merchandise as high or as low as they want. There's no conspiracy against you, Actarus!

I hope so. The deal they have is on over 250USD of stock order. If it does not work with them, I have found another place to get a Daigokin.
It's in France, 460E+35E shipping. So it's around 675 USD. It's not that bad. The cheaper I found was on eBay for 720 USD.

I'm waiting for an eBay confirmation. If I don't get any news soon I will go for the one in France.

I ordered my Daigokin in France. The total amount including shipping to Canada is 489E, so it's around 667$ USD. My credit card compagny has not the XE rates, so it will cost me around 670$.
I cancelled my order at Toy-Wave, I hope I won't have any problem with them
