It's perfect transformation (of course). November Release. 260 mm. (10.24 inches) And it's yours for only 84,000 Yen! (approx. $736 USD) Too bad it's so disgustingly beautiful. Then I wouldn't feel so bad about not buying it. halfeye.m78.com/products/dnova/dnova_top/dnova_top.htmlIn fact, don't look at it. If you start clicking on all those links for the individual figure pieces, it's half tempting. Why does SHE do this to us? It's like an evil, twisted mind game they play on us. It's plastic, but it looks so freakin cool, and then they pull the perfect transformation card out. Next thing you know, funny ideas start running through your head.. But the reality is that you could buy the SOC Reideen, Bikanfu, Jeeg, Godmars and still have enough money left over to buy two steak dinners, all for the price of this one SHE figure.

Man, that looks so amazing! How does it compare to the Max Factory version? I haven't been able to find any especially good pics on the latter.

Hmmm.... The liger beast mode head looks a lot like one of the GoLion's Lion head... Chances are, within a few months Bandai will release a superior product with metal material which will cost a quarter of the SHE product (gunbuster, anyone...).
Very nice product overall, though. The size is only a little bit smaller than the SOC GX-13 Dancouga.

No diecast on this babe... the only metal part is the screws, Maxfactory Dancouga don't combine, just like their maxgokin GGGG.... if you stay in Japan and do a mail order, you will get weapons for each Mecha, The eagle ( dagger) Elephant ( Axe) liger ( Submachine Gun) Rhino ( Pistol)....The most expensive SHE stuff to date. If SHE plan to make Ardaigun and able to combine with Dancouga to form Dancouga MaxGod, that will be the ultimate pieces to own...

Good job on SHE's end making it very toy like with no screw holes everywhere. But never really like this version of Dan to begin with. Pass.

SHE stuff always looks good with nifty transforming gimmicks, unfortunately resins' too fragile.
be very afraid of "shelf-dives"
I'd even settle for plastic and pay the ridiculous premium they're asking just for the sake of its engineering & aesthetics. Unfortunately resin is their medium choice due to their company size.

I'm actually debating on this currently. I just wish I could see the future and know what was going to happen with the Max Factory version and any other versions also. But it would be a beauty no matter what.

I'm actually debating on this currently. I just wish I could see the future and know what was going to happen with the Max Factory version and any other versions also. But it would be a beauty no matter what. It is tempting, as with SHE's godannar. However I currently have 2 SHE products the Getter perfect transformation & the Shin getter 1 both are a work of art in terms of its beauty & "origami-like" transformation but that of course come at a price. The fact that all joints are all loose, it can barely stand without support, it's super fragile. Practically simplifies any temptation debates I have with SHE stuff. Nonetheless, I'm still quite happy with my SHE stuff after all its always been one of my dreams to own a perfect transforming getter. having said that, the problems associated with it are quite frustrating. Actually, it is a lot like owing a paper origami, you can't touch it too much, your constantly worried it'd fall and break some connecting pegs; the white resin tends to yellow quite fast etc. So all it practically does is stands pretty inside one of my curios, I haven't handled it for about a couple of years for fear of breakage I'll wait for an SOC version of it

I have the SHE Gravion and it's held up ok. The joints do tend to get loose, so I use the superglu tightening method when needed.
I decided to wait for the Max Factory version. I admire cool transformation, but for me the combined form is where my heart is at, and where Max Factory excels at surface aesthetics and is going to incorporate R-Daigun, it works fine for me..

Same for me, I wait for Max Factory's, as I 'm sure I won't play with it and will leave it in final mode. Now the question is when is MAx Gaokin Dancouga nova released ?

SHE always makes such awesome figures... it is a shame that they are soooo expensive and soooo fragile...
