From what I read he's a fragile, wobbly, little cuss, with little or no diecast. But other than that he looks pretty good ;D

Just a brief review.
It is not a perfect transformation, you still have to move some parts and remove others (head and wings).
Die cast part - legs (dragon tail) and top chest (dragon head)
The good.
Both forms are good as display pieces specially the dragon mode, huge shelf eater. The dragon mode is the sturdier form, comes with it's own stand.
It is still playable as a toy since if a part pops off you can just put it back no fear or breakage.
The bad.
GUYMELEF this is where the problem is, it is floppy because of the cape. Cape is very heavy for it's own good. There are only two attachment points for the cape, and since the attachment points are part of the transformation the cape will just drag it down if you lift the guymelef off the floor. It will remain a dispaly piece with the cape on so just remove the cape if you want to play with the guymelef form.
If they just used cloth IMHO it would have been better.
So that is my take. If it is on sale and you really want one, get it. It's not that bad of a purcahse but it is not that good either. If I got it on sale it woul be ok. The only thing going for it is the dragon mode. Guymelef will only stay as a display piece.

Y39,900!!! = $357.00 I saw a YAMATO version from BBTS. And it is way cheaper than the StudioHalfEye version. Are you there any difference?

Whoa! I didn't see the price there for the SHE version, and at 200mm it's only about 8 inches. Yeah I'd forget this one, unless your a Escaflowne freak, but I don't think there are too many of those around .
