Coming here, I see so many threads about this or that, but no information is available on them. I've tried looking things up, but usually only get Japanese web sites that I can't read or translate properly. Take a recent one called "Great Baangaan." I see a really cool figure over on HLJ with this huge sword and I think it's awesome, but I have no idea what its all about. Can anyone tell me or link me to a site with some decent info on all the Braves sereies?
About the only Braves series I've seen is GaoGaiGar and I've seen it all the way through to the end including Final. I've also seen a few episodes of Might Gaine, but not all of it. I'd like to see a page with all of those "stats" for the various mecha they display during GGG when they cut to commercial. Readable, of course. You would think there's some sort of "Perfect Works" book in existance for it like there was for Xenogears. Hehe.
But yeah, any and all information anyone can provide about people, mecha, characters, abilities, and pictures would be great. I've got video clips that I've been trying to trim down for the net. I wonder why no one has started some sort of Braves Wiki yet....

Ohhh... So its a game and not an anime? Thanks for the info guys! ^_^ I still wish there was a sort of Braves-Wiki site or something though. From what I've heard, GGG and Might Gaine are really the only two "serious" Brave anime series. The rest are mainly...kinda silly. Just from what I've heard. Not my words! lol
I find it interesting that the whole Braves series is more or less a take off from Transformers. After Transformers ended in Japan anyway. I've seen some of Transformers: Victory and it has a lot of similar style to it.

Baan Gaan was intended to be the anime that came out after Dagwon, but they put it on hold to do GaoGaiGar instead. And then the Brave TV and toy franchise pretty much ended with GaoGaiGar, so Baan Gaan got shafted to the video game.

Well that sucketh. So as of right now there's no Brave series anime going on? Well, besides the temping of GaoGaiGo and all.
Hehe, Brave TV. A network devoted to the Brave series of anime. ^_^ What really got me about Baan Gaan was the massive sword. That and it's appearance. As my room mate put it, he looks like GaoGaiGar's 'happier, more cheerful cousin.' lol

Well theres seven Braves that started from 1991 till 1997. They are as follows:
Brave Exkaiser - Exkaiser is a space police of some sort that comes down to earth to defend it from space pirates and takes on the form of a family car.
Brave of the Sun Fighbird - Similar idea. Space police takes the form of a cyborg built by a wacky doctor. He combines with a jet create by said doctor to become Fighbird.
Brave of Legend Dagarn - Spirits of the earth take control of earth vehicles to do battle with Aliens that come of suck the planet dry.
Brave Express Mightgaine - Rich kid develops Gaine a robot with Ai to do battle against an underground organisation.
Brave Police J-Decker - I dont know much about this series.
Brave of Gold Goldran - Same as above. But from what I've heard the raves revive through jewels and its a race against time to retrieve them all before the enemy does.
Brave Command Dagwon - Criminals from a space prison break free and target earth. Brave Seijin choose 5 (later 6) high school kids to become dagwon, the name which is given to braves, to fight the criminals.
King of Braves Gaogaigar - People are being turned into zondars and Only a cyborg named guy and Galeon a mechanic Lion can stop them.
Saint of Braves Great Baangaan - A brave from the world of Astaria comes down to earth to fight evil beings from space but requires the courage of the main character to fight these beings.
Hope that helps. Now hopefully Sunrise restarts Brave. If the braves were awesome back then they should be even better made with todays tech.

Thanks! That does help. ^_^ Hmm... Brave Command Dagwon sounds like a sentai show. Its not the sentai show related to GaoGaiGar is it? I heard there was one that included some characters from GGG. There is a clip on YouTube from one of the GGG games that shows Taiga and Hyuuma doing some sort of transformation sequence into their old sentai outfits. Hehe Speaking of games, how come there haven't been more Braves games that are basically robot fighting games? They're mostly puzzle solving games and stuff. Now that GGG is being put out on DVD in the US, I'd like to see a big GGG fighting game made. Something akin to TechRomancer, but with the Braves robos. Does anyone know which Super Robot Wars games had Braves robots in them? ... And if they have been translated by anyone. ^_^;

That would be cool. The problem would be the amount of characters there would need to be in a Brave game. If its just Gagaigar it would be ok but a Brave game would need loads of characters. Thats why a lot of Brave games are strategy games ie. SRW, Brave Saga etc.

I just got the Legend of Great Bravers book. It appears that Brave Saint Baan Gaan was originally going to be called Fotgrizer. Weirdest brave name...
