This is funny... actually, its sad for me because I made the mistake of seriously underselling a bunch of these. I was hunting for old bots around Seoul and chose an older area (This was the same area that I had the experience with the rat in). Anyway I walked into this old store and found all of these `Edison' Toy company model kits of "Maginga Z". I saw that the owner had about 20 so I made him an offer of 600KW each (approx 50 cents per kit). I bought 11 of them and proceeded to go on hunting in different stores in the area carrying this enormous bag of model kits...not giving much thought to the remaining stock. Anyway I told some friends about my kits and people swarmed to trade with me... I got some good swaps but, I made the mistake of giving some of these away as gifts. www.auction.co.kr/buy/detail_view.asp?itemno=A010908364I went back there about a month ago to discover the area had been ransacked by other collectors when they learned of my find. I have no idea why the interest in these damn kits. I dont even like model kits myself but it seems that anything with Mazinger or Grandizer is snapped up here when discovered. One friend told me that one of these kits sold in Japan for the equivalent of over $70~ apparently Japanese collectors like the picture on the box! Thats how it goes I guess... I just wont think about the money I could have made.

Wow, 50 cents to 70 dollars.. that's more than a 10,000% profit! The picture on the box is pretty cool, though! I can see why they like it so much. Personally, my favorite Korean Mazinger Z art so far is the one that combines Mazinger Z with characters from the anime series Cyborg 009 and Lupin the 3rd: www.oldtoy.net/uploadGoodsimage/000731-002036_L.jpgMaybe I just go for the weird stuff... ^^;
