Yup, it's all plastic, good design though. It stands tall. But light since it's plastic. ;D

It is a great toy.
I haven't been able to see any difference between the Voltron Us and Popy version.
He is asking way to much, it goes for half of that in Japan.

It is a sharp toy. Keep in mind that a "cheap buy" in Japan involves a good deal of comission......usually....
But with that said, the sword is a unique part of the Japanese release. Then there are small chrome antennas that are Japanese exclusive. I belive the US version has this, but the Japanese version has friction wheels on the main vehicles so they can scoot across the floor. I think the box art is superb.
Oh, and ignore the plastic issue becuase it involves 15 toy parts (chipping if it were d/c). It towers over most DX toys and is on a scale with Tetsujin. The crux of the issue is how much do you like box art and how much of a purist are you?

The japanese set also comes with stickers that the US set does not have.
I have never seen a DX with all stickers applied.

What's funny with this toy is that someone decided to knock it off, there is a yellow/black/red/gold knock off version of this toy that looks about the same. Toys R Us was selling them at $15 each and no one still bought it. Hard to pay $600.00 for a plastic toy. $200 maybe.

Welcome to the BBS I won't pay that much, but I think it is well worth a big premium to have the "original" version of the toy that is unadulterated. E

Ed - I couldnt find a sticker sheet, but here's sticker placement instructions: I'm pretty sure the individual boxed sets had stickers. Dont know about the big box.
