So correct me if I'm wrong, there will be subsequent re-releases of the DX VF-1J and VF-1S because the ones that are out are "First Editions" that include the base/stand? maybe , or maybe not. There is no solid answer from Bandai on this.. If you want a dx Roy, you might as well go for the one that is releasing in days.

The link doesn't work for me. Do you need to be a member of the website? I tried registering but I got an error, "You cannot log in to this service from the country or territory you registered." (I'm from the USA). This was the gallery for the event , with the event over they have closed it . If you scroll to the middle from my link it will show both VR, and gallery are now closed .” VR venue page is no longer available” “The gallery page has been discontinued.“

No rush , just take look when you can tonight . On July ,this same website opened their preorder for Dx Roy around Monday around 7-9am pacific standard time (maybe 0001 Tuesday JST?) , not really sure of the exact time. But they listed the Dx Roy again for 24000 yen Somehow you can’t add to cart and there’s “NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE” Maybe this is a placeholder for when they have extra stock or possibly they already expect to have extra stock . okini.land/en/21236-dx-chogokin-vf-1s-valkyrie-roy-focker-special-bandai-spirits.html?SubmitCurrency=1&id_currency=5If you are free maybe check there around 7-9 am Monday PST , That is if they keep that same schedule as before .

Is there really NO other way to get these DX Macross on a pre O price? I can't justify the double price tag on these DX figures. Plus the horror of staying up late to put a pre O. Life is hard enough, dont make it more harder Bandai😭 if you were not able to get it on preorder night, then the only chance is for reopens from amiami, cdjapan, amazon,jp , hlj, and hobbysearch. We won't know when or if those those will have extras or cancellations. But the chances are there, expeccially near release date. So all you can do is be ready. Preorder nights are not easy but it gives you the highest chance of getting it for msrp, I mean at least you were right there, standing by and ready. Just have to get use to the speed and routine of placing a fast order. also please be open minded.... if you keep on saying double the price tag, your mind will start to think it. and before you know it, you will not be happy with the purchase. The msrp is 19800 yen (with jp tax included) That is the price without shipping. that is the msrp if you flight to Japan to get it at the store. double msrp would be 39600 yen (with jp tax included) .. this does not include international shipping, which can add cost of $45 to $90 depending on store and shipping company. Shipping is shipping. so evening if you can get the item at msrp of 19800 yen ($190 USD) you will still need to pay the shipping which can be $45 to $90. So your actual shipped MSRP price would be something in the price range of $235USD - $280USD. There were some stores that were able to do it for a bit cheaper due to their shipping discount. So believe it or not. If you can find one for $300 shipped, then you are paying only around $20-65 more. than msrp and not double. only $20-$60 more.. only $20 to $60 more.. .. hope this will make you feel better when you look at the market prices.

A-E is not following N-Y's practice. A-E is also a proxy store so they have similar practice. On high demand sold out items, they will listed for higher than msrp. (this this after the initial preorder where they list at or below msrp) I understand that. But before it only happened when they had the stock on hand. This time though, it is preorder with inflated price. Just like N-Y. They might have a updated of incoming allocation from Bandai and it's easy profit for them to list them now instead of later. due to the pandemic, many unshipped items are still stored at their ware house. They most likely like to clear items out as soon as possible. These extra might not even be their extra stocks. it could very well be from other stores that they can precure from for easy profit. someone buys it from them for 28000 yen, they order from amazon.jp for 25800 or other resellers. .. easy 2000 yen profit.

Oh cool. Thanks for clarifying. Was wondering if I missed a retail listing and the price went up again when I saw it. The stores that don't increase reopening pricing for sold out items are HLJ hobbysearch cdjapan (direct, not proxy) amazon.jp (direct from amazon, not 3rd party seller) amiami (no more preorder discount) everywhere else will most likely have a mark up, small or big.

This is the inflated price. Is A-E following N-Y’s practice now? A-E is not following N-Y's practice. A-E is also a proxy store so they have similar practice. Isn't that marked-up price? I see 28000yen. It was more like 19000yen retail. Or am I missing something? yes, that's a market-up prince. The msrps 19,800 yen. These are just options that open up recently for people that what a Roy and is ok with the current marked up.

Ordered! Gone into the PoL...so, shipping *should* be cheaper with everything else in that box once I ship it. nice, also A-E will declare lower value so you can save from import tax too.

If you already have to RX-93 and like it, then I would say go all out for the Sazabi (looks soooooooo freaking good) I'm running out of room and since I did not get the rx-93,, or the funnel, ,then I should stay away from the Sazabi (yeah just keep telling myself that) The only Sazabi I have is a 1/200 HCm pro version. ^_^. omg so tiny. I never had the HCM Pros as they were just so small but I really liked the Super HCM Pro line. They were 1/144 and just had so many features and extra parts. I was disappointed when they cancelled that line. due to all those features and extras that the super HCM pro have, it pretty much priced itself out at time when the market wasn't that good. , , I really like that line too . but they were really pricey back then , I have to wait til sales to get them.
