Looks fantastic.
I'm surprised there aren't more galleries/reviews of this thing already.

XS-08, XS-09, and XS-01R all have metal feet (except for the soles), metal for the front and back of the lower legs, and metal for most of the thigh armor. They all also have the fixed hip joints.
XS-01R also has two small extra bits of metal on the front of the chest that Eva-02 and Eva-00 do not have.
The weight of the three Spec Evas I own is unimpressive, but the detail and poseability is stellar.

Dunbine!
Dunbine!
SOC or SOC Spec.
Come on! Make a Dunbine already, Bandai! I'm dyin' here.
Billbine, OVA Giant Robo, Giant Gorg, SDF-1 Macross, Dai-Guard, RahXephon, Albegas, and L-Gaim MkII would also make great SOCs, no doubt. But Dunbine is what I need.

...Grendizer ... wasn't even built on Earth. That's what NASA wants you to believe, but everyone knows they faked Grendizer with the help of some special effects guys from Hollywood.

Obviously the next figure is the evil version of GoShogun.
Obviously.

I really hope we'll get a Giant Gorg eventually. That would be great in the SOC format.

I'm curious. Is an SOC of Giant Gorg a possibility, or does Takara have a lock on the property such that Bandai could never make a Giant Gorg toy?

The scale was fudged the same way in the anime. Anything else wouldn't look right.

Wow. That sucks. Why go this route, I wonder? Does it have something to do with the distribution deal with Toynami? (Slimmed down releases for overseas; keep the goodies for people at home...? Does that even make sense?)
I really hope this doesn't signify a trend in the SOC line.
