Better do a multiple releases than squeezing everything into one set. Otherwise, the bots are going to be tiny...

I would love to get this too! Since Bandai is releasing Daitarn and Ninja Tobikage, looks like other figures on the recent poll of the most-wanted future SOC will all be released. If this is the case, it will be just a matter of time when Daltanios will be remade (finally)! I have been regretting for 20 years since throwing away my combinable Daltanios.... time for me to atone for my sins

Pretty cool design. However, I would've rather have Bandai release an SOC Mazinkaiser or SOC Shin Getter Set instead... or Black Getter, or SOC Neo Getter Set, or SOC Dai Guard, or SOC Godannar, or SOC Gear Fighter Dendoh, or SOC Dairugger XV. or SOC Go Lion, or SOC Daltanias, or SOC Gao Figh Gar, or SOC...

I have a feeling if this is made Tobikage will be on the small side, maybe 3-4 inches tall and be offered in one giant gift set. But that list is also listing Daitarn as GX-52 and OVA Getter 1 as GX-53 which is a little odd since we haven't even seen any painted prototypes or Daitarns alternate modes while Getter 1 looks pretty much complete.

This came out about roughly five years ago and was made by Gigabrain. It was somewhere around six inches and cost in the ballpark of $40. It was a good figure except that the head was really small, kind of like the Gigabrain Dancouga.

That's a really cool looking design, I have to say. I dig the giant lion mech, too, though if that's the size disparity between the two robots, I doubt a SOC set would include both of them unless it went the direction of the SOC Spec Tekkaman blade.
EDIT: Or like the Daikyu Maru set, which had a pretty disappointingly fiddly Gaiking. Or who knows, maybe more like Baikanfu which had two awesome and poseable tiny figures?
