In one of those pics it's nice to see that the shoulders can now be positioned above the head. Hopefully more improvements from Gran Sigma or even more improvements can be observed with Ultimate Gravion here. Having only armor parts instead of transforming vehicles helps as well. I'm all for it. I could display Sol Gravion in all of his individual components and Ultimate Gravion looking amazing in combined mode with that giant sword.

I noticed the hole in the chest but didn't notice the other details. They might just be there though since the kibble is still part of King J-Der's design, and the anime didn't hide them. Nah, not those male/female tabs on arms and legs, as they are toy engineering bits, not kibble design. They are not even in their CG model. The exact kind of tabs where the 2 arms and legs snap together like in SOCs, TFs, and older Takara DX Braves. The magazine article did mention there is some secret gimmick hidden within this toy body (the orange ink calligraphy text) waiting to be reveal in a later date. Tons of hints they dropped there really, if we pay closer attention. I'm curious what happened between the original teaser and now where they're like oh man guys we get to shift into transformation, hold on to your butts everyone. I wasn't considering this before, but now.....I should just start throwing extra money into the King D-Jer pile.

Every time a new Guren toy comes out I'm always disappointed in the build quality. Don't fail me this time Bandai.

Any chance they re-release God Gravion and Sol Gravion with the improved articulation on Kaiser? Part of me is thinking they might release a new base Kaiser with better articulation with the Ultimate Gravion parts. Speaking of which those parts were revealed in summer of last year and everything has been silent since. Waiting game continues.....

Wow, $320 out the gate. I love the design, but this is a bit much for a figure of this size. It looks great tho.

Click FB logo to view pics.... / Glad to see we finally got some official pics and a price. Looks to be about $208 USD. This is one of those megazord designs where I never cared for the individual zords, but loved the combined mode.

Wait, we can’t combine the Gravions and have to buy a new mold? Yeah, that's not happening. The proportions would look wonky. So Sentinel is making an entirely different unit for the Ultimate. Gold I shutter to think about how much the price for ultimate Gravion will cost.

linkA Japanese twitter user who has it in-hand confirms the shoulders, elbows, knees and neck joint and possibly the waist have been redesigned to allow for more range of motion.

It is indeed made by the same guys who made the 1/72 metal build gundams. Great construction, articulation, heft. Love their work and its cool to see them try out original designs and sell them to official retailers. So, from their initial Gundam releases, you can vouch for their quality (i.e. as good as a Bandai)...? In my experience, they had the best quality in terms of 3P Gundam figures. Top-quality paint, tampo printing, articulation, hell at the time I think they exceeded Bandai. Bandai has gotten a little fancier with articulation for the Metal build line, but Mo Show's quality has been stellar. The only thing Mo show didn't make very well was their 1/100 take on the 00 Quanta Gundam which had a fragile backpack connection, but that was their 1 and only take on a 1/100 suit.

Any guesses on the next announcement? In their last virtual Tamashii event they showed the F91 Chronicle white, Gold Amatsu Mina, Justice, Strike & Grand slam sword, Lohengrin Launcher, Seven Sword G Inspection & the Red Dragon Astray. F91 & Amatsu Mina are already out. I'm not sure about the likelihood of Justice when they just solicited the Metal Robot version. Maybe the Strike Gundam because the original blew up in the aftermarket & people could a get another chance to own one. Yeah, I'm slightly annoyed at the announcement of the MRD Justice, only because it will likely push back the announcement of the MB version, which is what I'm aiming for. Before the MRD Justice was announced, I was confident the MB Justice would be the next MB to be announced for PO and be released around November 2021 or December 2021. Now, I can't see that happening. Unless I'm entirely wrong and MB Justice is announced for PO within the next several weeks, MB Justice is almost certainly a 2022 release. Agreed, finally putting an MB justice together with Freedom 2.0 would be the best right now, but I guess Bandai had other plans. Just got to keep waiting now. I wonder when Bandai will put up the metal structure Sazabi up for order.

I owned the Gigantechs Gridman and while the toy was nicely painted, it was super light and made out of very thin ABS plastic. It also didn't help some of the key friction joints in the hips were loose and either needed to be WAY tighter or ratchets. The light-up feature was also pretty buggy.

I always wanted to own the special marking version of the Penelope, but never picked it up. This revised version to match the movie is just what I was looking for.

I'm just glad Sentinel is finally freaking using ratchet joints, especially on what is the largest combining robot they are making so far.
