I really enjoy the design of Sol Tekkaman, but man once he ran out of ammo he became a useless brick.

The trick? well its kind of hard to explain, but you have to angle the ball joint where it doesn't want to move anymore and gently wiggle the hand at an angle that's opposite of the ball joints direction and it works well..........sorta......well its much more successful than trying to simply attach the hand. However, this figure holds a special place in my heart as Tekkaman or Teknoman in the USA was probably one of the first anime I've ever seen. So a highly detailed metal filled tekkaman figure is godly in my mind and pants.

Hey xiombarg the manual doesn't mentions this but does tekkaman have a waist joint? I turned it at the waist and it swivels a little, but I'm not sure thats an actual joint.

Got mine today. Initial thoughts: Heavy as hell with armor, solid, still very movable with good articulation. Tight joints that can hold the weight of the metal. Almost all the armor is painted and gives Tekkaman a super sharp look.
However, the wrist ball joints scare me as they are quite small and its DAMN hard to swamp out the fist. I found a trick to it but its still a pain in the ass! Anyways, besides that I'M IN LOVE WITH this figure. Bandai Im buying more!
Anyways, PICS are coming!

Here's a picture of the touched up paint chip. Its not terribly noticeable, but it is there. I wish I could a better picture, but my digital camera may now be considered prehistoric.

I just got my Yamato SV-51 Nora today from HLJ, most unexpectedly since HLJ never sent me a shipping notice. Oh well, it was a nice surprise and man oh man I love the SV-51 nice and tight. Well worth the $120 and free sexy shipping.
