Everything is new on the Arcadia. The reactive armor will definitely not fit the Yamato. It's totally worth the upgrade. The vf-0s by Arcadia is tight and mostly qc issue free. It's night and day compared to the Yamato.

I believe the tamashii exclusive part was the Nanbara Base. The figure itself was normal release, and if I remember correctly was not sold out immediately during the pre-order stage. It wasn't sold out immediately. However, back when it was first release, SOCs never sells out during pre-order and are always widely available, and even goes to discount bins frequently. I think GX-50 was one of the first ones that never made it to discount bins. This threw many of us off as we were all waiting for it to happen, but it never did. As a result, many collectors like me never got GX-50, or at least didn't get it at the price we were expecting to pay. At least to me, the improvements made to GX-50 over GX-03 wasn't enough for me to buy it again at MSRP. I kinda regretted not getting it but oh well.

I don't think it was a tamashii exclusive, just a regular release. However it was either hugely on demand or production number was low. It was one of the few SOCs that never got out on sale

Tapatalk is pretty nice that if you click a link it opens up the page within the app. When you're done reading the page just click back and it brings you right back to the thread you were reading.

Surely makes it tempting to get a devastated for the fourth time! Sold all previous ones I have.
Lots of Star Wars reference in a devastated thread.

To me the face on the new one is longer and its chin is closer to the neck. New face sculpt looks much much better in my opinion. Check the first post.

wow, the dark one looks pretty awesome. Perhaps even more so than the regular one.....
The $1500 is for membership with BU toys. You get dark Voltron for being a member.

sweet!!! What are the changes? For some reason I'm liking this one a lot more than KOB, but since I never bought the KOB I am not familiar with it.
Edit: Just realized that a pic of the old version is also on first post. Here are the changes I'm able to tell:
1. head sculpt is improved 2. chest has more red, and generally looks more accurate 3. waist has belt detail next to star 4. added numbering 5. more red paint on both the legs 6. updated shield (no swiss watch!) 7. updated sword (esp. the handle)
anything else?

Don't use AE for anything used. I once got a gunbuster that was listed as new but was used. A VF-1a that was missing vent covers, another VF-1a that had excess glue that prevented transformation, and finally a YF-19 that flat out had a piece broken out of the box. AE did provide partial refund for the gunbuster and full refund for the YF-19, and I was able to remedy the other two issues. Still, my track record has been 100% when it comes to finding issues with used toys from AE. If their customer service is now nonexistent then I wouldn't risk buying any used items there.
I still buy new things from AE though. They have the best prices sometimes.
