I'm getting 2 of them. Have sent the coupon to my contact over in Japan to place the order. Eagerly anticipating its release in October 2010.

[quote author=themazingerz board=SOC thread=16503 I personally like the Kotobukiya Sozetsu Gokin better that the rest. They look awesome, but the are also fragile figures due to the resin parts they use in it. I have to say that the most durable ones are Yujin's, followed by the CM's M.A.S. figures since it is pretty hard to screw up PVC parts (but they do break from time to time). The CM's Brave Series figures are pretty well made, and do have some diecast components to them. However, they are not very posable and also have issues, mainly with the knees... }D[/quote] I own the 3 kotobukiya sozetsu gokin and I think they are quite durable. I have them for about 10 years and did a video review for all of them and their joints are still pretty tight. No signs of breakage unlike my MF GGGG ver.1. For CMS's GGGG, the knees of the first release are very prone to breakage as the joint inside is made of plastic. CMS realized this mistake and change the joint to diecast in their 2nd release of GGGG.

Hey Elliot, thanks for the heads up on the posability of this piece. You're absolutely right on the ball joint for the neck. Not only does it not sit in deep enough, I feel that the hole for the neck is too big and that's probably why the ball joint does not stay in well enough. Perhaps Bandai is just being careful to avoid having us break the neck.
If you noticed, the material they used for this piece makes the joints and a lot of parts very stiff. And I am concerned if this will result in parts breaking off if we use too much force on it.

First of all, thanks to rizuan76 for speaking up for me. And he has kindly said almost all of what I had in mind to say. I am flattered that my video review on MF GGGG has been taken into consideration before one buys the figure. My purpose is not to put down the figure. Definitely not as I am a very big fan of GGG. It just saddens me that my GGGG is so damaged and after reading a lot of reviews on it's damages, I just wish to highlight this so that others will be more careful with theirs and avoid the damages that many of us have suffered. And to add on, I live in a smoke free place and my gokins are displayed away from direct sunlight. However, where I live (Singapore) is a humid country, so I am not sure if that shortens the lifespan of the figures. And as per all replies, a significant number of collectors have experienced less, similar and even more breakages than I have. But some have been lucky to have theirs in one piece. MechaShiva's info should be right on this. On my reviews for Godannar and Gurren Lagaan, I respect that some of you might feel that I handled them roughly but I know I've handled them with care. To some, handle with care means moving the joints very gently and slowly and to others, it could mean just not stressing the joints too much and etc. I appreciate all the feedback to make my reviews better and I totally understand how a true collector and appreciator of toys feels when they see a toy not being handled the way they think it should be. Thanks everyone for your compliments and feedback. I'll do better for my future reviews.
