Looks like Structor and Dr. Crank would have to wait a bit. RK is out of stock and you know how it is on eBay so that leaves BBTS. It's 100 $, but the shipping is 32 $?!
Two months till the end of the semester...! I want it to end soon so I can look for a job... that if the next semester won't be filled with projects and long-assed assignment

I do hope it'll comeback. We were supposed to have a Reflector figure, and there are still some G1 character that needs an update like Shockwave and Trailbreaker.
But I don't know if it'll be soon. DOTM is almost dead, but Prime is starting, so I don't think they'll continue it at the moment.

I hope King Ghidorah gets decent neck articulation and not stationary necks like those cheap figures. I want to mimic the chocking scene before the mid-neck explosion.

More pictures. And that's your size comparison with a voyager figure. Also note the combined gun. This one made me go "Holy Crap! " Structor can fly?!

Kinda insane of the reviewer to dip the head into warm water to expand the plastic a bit before forcing it into the ball joint. I know I won't be doing that. You know... there's a screw behind his head. You could open up his head if you can't pop it off.

Even though I said I wouldn't... I ended up buying the extra Godzilla parts. Yokatta still have them, and since I couldn't find miniature tanks and jets, I thought "why not"... better take the chance while it's still there.
However, it'll be quite a while before I get both G and MG.
So far, we got Godzilla, Mecha Godzilla, Space Godzilla and Moguera. Those are all Heisei-era kaiju. Do you think we will get the rest of the era? Here are my predictions:
-King Ghidorah would be a retail release. -Mecha King Ghidorah would be a Bandai exclusive -Destroyah final form would be a retail release -Destroyah's other forms and a Godzilla Jr. would be Bandai exclusives. -Not sure about Biollante. -Not sure about Mothra, but maybe Battra would be a retail version.
And hopefully the line would expand to release Showa and Millennium eras.

Oh boy... and so it begins. I know the feeling, but at least you picked a cool rendition - the Clone Wars version of Artoo has a lot of play gimmicks other versions don't have. When I got into Clone Wars by way of the Blu-ray sets I started with a figure of Rex and Cody - two of my favourite characters from the first season. Then little by little, my team of two clones at my office desk became a squad, then it became a legion... until at one point, I decided, I was tired of collecting clones. Now, I still buy a new variant clone when I see one, but thankfully clone characters don't come out as often as they seemed to a couple of years ago... It's not like I'm a fan of Star Wars or any thing... I do have a soft spot for it, but not in a normal fan level. Plus, all what I saw was the original trilogy and that's it. The real reason for getting R2D2 was so I can have a droid toy. He still remains my favorite character unlike the obnoxious C3PO. And continuing the "Where are Wheeljack & Warpath?" series, there was a twist...! Instead of receiving them, I got something else instead... Robot Masters Beast Convoy! All what's left are DOTM Fireburst Optimus, WFC Optimus, Prime Voyager Prime and iGear Masterpiece Prime and my desired Optimus Prime collection would be completed.

I bought a Star Wars Clone Wars R2D2 figure from the local TR. My first Star Wars toy ever.

For the non-Facebook users here, TFC seems to have acknowledged that there is indeed a problem with Heavy Labor... ...and another member posted the actual email thread he received back from TFC when he emailed them. According to that email TFC will be shipping out replacement parts in December. They don't clarify if there will be redesigned replacement bits or if it will be just replacements of existing pieces. Oh, so they will actually send replacement parts? I need a new light-pipe piece since the one I have was scratched even before I opened it.

^ But when eBay prices are absurd, you don't have much of a choice. ((Why did I miss the re-issue?! Why?! Oh yeah... because I bought the DOTM Takara Voyager Prime...!))

My Heavy Labor does not have any of the problems mentioned here. Neither the leg ratchets nor the head.
I should say however that I'm impressed with the contrast between the robot and the vehicle mode. The robot mode is huge and bulky, but the vehicle mode is tiny! It's like "Mass-Shifting"!

- Placed a preorder for Monster Arts Mechagodzilla parts. - Purchased Takara Robot Master Beast Convoy (Optimus Primal). I never thought I'd find one in a reasonable price ($27 not including the shipping). - I should receive Heavy Labor today along with Generation Wheeljack and Warpath (Maybe).
EDIT: Okay, maybe not. Post office closed earlier today due to the holiday.

We could use a thread like this here.
Share us what you've recently bought and your thoughts on it whether it's vintage or new or in-between.
What's my most recent purchase?
HFTD Sidearms Sideswipe.
Since I didn't like either the first movie Sideswipe or the DOTM Sideswipe, I decided to get the HFTD version.
I wanted to have the Takara version since it got the accurate colors, but I thought it's not worth it and got satisfied with the Hasbro version.
The figure is okay, although the legs are not that well articulated due to the rubber pistons at the waist and the lower thigh. But overall, I liked it.
