The current one at $6200 is pricey, but some other auctions have gone high as well
From my personal folder of YJP auctions:
July 2022 $3416 loose, missing fists and accessories Dec 2021 $18027 complete box piece Dec 2021 $8567 Loose, missing left fist, missing sword. Did have wheel truck and ankle block Oct 2021 $4963 loose, missing fists, accessories, did have chest piece June 2021 $3583 loose, rough, missing fists, etc, etc. Was hoping it was going to sell lower and fix it up. July 2021 $12046 box piece, didn't have wheel truck or ankle block June 2021 $6084 loose, bit rough, did have fists and wheel truck. Was surprised it went this high. So, the current Buy It Now doesn't seem crazy

With photos back in the mix here. Time to see about getting more threads created. Thanks Ed.
Here is my current progress for my creation. Maybe some more filament will show up in the next day or two. Was hoping for this last Friday or Saturday.

What does a vintage Popy Jumbo Machinder Voltes V go for these days? Also, what does a vintage Jumbo Machinder Popy Golion also go for? I have never seen any on eBay ever to know any market value. A Voltes could be from $3000 to $8000. About 4 years ago, I gave up when one got up to $2500 for being loose, without all the accessories, but it was in nice shape.
I am not sure what the Golion would be. I have only seen the knockoff Peru version more recently besides the LJN.

I believe the missiles would shoot with John's repro shooter. The only "repro" of Voltes which I have done, was the 3d print for a combiner version. Tristan (gravewolf) has been printing a regular version of Voltes
Below, is an old, early photo. I really need to to update photos on my hobby Facebook page, lol

Can't say I have ever seen the Jeeg flying disks ever for sale. I don't have the accessory which had similar looking flying disks to know if they were the same or not.
I think there is a strong compression spring inside and pushing outward in force for the locking mechanism and that it could make the center hub break out. Which must have happened on a few toys.

Ah, thread resurrection. I haven't seen any popy ones listed in awhile. And I only have the LJN, which is fine by me. John Olson did make some repro Lion mouth missile shooters.

Most of the jumbo guys are on Facebook pages. Derik has made different colored missiles.
I don't think he has the head piece of the Mach Baron missile.

It does shoot missiles, it is fun a couple times, but then just sits there :-) I will let Tristan inform any details on sales. Here is the latest iteration with modified toes and stripe added to the head.

Nice. Mine came yesterday as well.
I don't think I am going to put batteries in the light up eyes.
It has got some big lower legs. Should keep it upright.

Thanks for all the photos and information. I have looked at mine, but haven't played with the accessories or combine it.

Well, the movie does need to cater to the masses. And that includes mainstream movie icons seen in the U.S. and not the popular Japanese robots which we have a passion for.
I haven't seen it, and will likely enjoy it, as I haven't read the book.

Nice video. I went with the M3 Studio instead. 100cm though, is a lot of figure to display :-)
