Last I heard was that my recommendation was passed on to the company president "Joel" who will call Fewture
Lets cross our fingers
Speculative Possibilities 1-BBTS will ensure their batches get QCd before shipment to USA
2-Or wait till july to get new wings shipped with shipment
3-who da heck knows.....
Purely speculation on my part totally

All Fellow collectors
I have come up with another tip the The hot toys ironman mark IV ligh up stand support bar can be inserted in the shin getter base and this way you avoid scratching it

Ok I spoke to a plastic modeler shop last night and took the extended wing to the guy here in the USA
I am thinking if someone in singapore or china knows a plastic factory we can all bulk order the wings
They make 3dprinting machine that can scan a shape 3d and laser cut the plastic piece I figure that we should get the scan of fully open wing and get a cheap factory somewhere to produce after apinting it black like in anime and problem solved
What do you think Tanjw

I really think with this recall issue they have their hands full and this could be the straw that breaks the back before any new projects Yesterday I heard from a source that Fewture is running insane and calling all their distributors to open boxes and check shipments and what they are finding is a whole bunch of random breaks So, as an informed customer that I am I emailed BBTS today to shed light on the subject and request if they can pre-emptively call fewture to ensure that what they send to USA is damage free? What do you think (if you are in USA)?

I agree with you and am gonna do it anyway, even if Fewture sends an extra set of replacement wings. It is a little fix that can save a lot of headaches in the future. I'm only hoping the paint job is near perfect on mine, because there is no easy fix for that... }D You now the paint job can never be perfect enough, especially for something this big and with enamel paint you are bound to see little dots here and there But I still respect Fewture for bringing us this product though

No special brand any silicone based lubricant will do from what I try
I would spray first on Q-tip (used for ear cleaning) and than seep the liquid via touching the Q-tip

I dont want to be the bearer of bad news but here is my summary on the wings After doing surgery on them, I have realized that the people who have their wings "Problem Free" are in denial or avoiding to display them with wings These wing screws have been tightened too much and if it is not broken now down the road it will or it will develop a crack, it took one swing and mine cracked like a egg shell So i decided to do surgery on it the darn screws need to be loose
