Im in the USA but lived in Honduras up until the age of 12. Robots I clearly remember watching on TV and that I collect were:
Mazinger Z Great Maz "Festival de los Robots" AKA Gakeen, Gaiking, Steel Jeeg, & Starzinger Bismark Robotech Gordian Daltanious Voltron & Vehicle Voltron Laserion Goshogun Albegas
I think those were all the ones I watched.

I havent been this blown away with a figure since Riobot Mazinkaiser. I cant stop looking at it. well my friend, you either have a very very high standers or you didn't buy much since the Riobot Mazinkaiser
im positive there is at least 10 amazing releases since the Riobot Mazinkaiser got released
Yes you are definitely correct, many good figures have come out but the articulation on Mazinkaiser blew me away at that time.

Anyone have a confirmed weight on Goshogun? I've heard close to 2lbs. Unfortunately, I'm at the mercy of BBTS for mine. Hopefully get it by spring... Post on another forum:

anubis20 you'd put it over Baxinger?? If so, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan the hype is real. Great shots to all and even knowing the height on paper it's really something to see it next to other pieces in these in-hand shots. Sadly I didnt get that one because I had never heard of Baxingar and then aftermarket went through the roof But from watching reviews Baxingar was definitely super impressive. I think Goshogun might just be a notch lower than Baxingar because it doesnt combine. A combiner with amazing articulation just cant be beaten IMO. Still its an amazing figure that feels that its worth every penny because of the care and detail that went into it and im a new Pose+ fan. Unlike some of the recent expensive stuff that is disintegrating garbage... *cough* MP-47 *cough*. Yea I had to pick a figure that I knew almost everyone had for a size comparison

This is one of my favorite SOC figures ever. It is one of the most underrated SOC. The shortcomings of this figure are simply overstated. I never get the complaint about the shoulders. I have 2 of these (regular and black repaint), both have tight shoulders. I’ve seen people pass this up and buy the legacy Megazord new for over $300. That’s insane. I think if you pass this up you will regret it later as the price increases on secondary market. This is unlikely to get another release as Hasbro now owns power rangers. If you didn’t buy this figure because you didn’t want to pay $300 and you keep comparing this to SOC Voltron (big mistake) you will regret not picking it up now. It’s only $230. It is a gorgeous figure. It also has my favorite box art for an SOC. Old school art of the Megazord. tfsource.com/mighty-morphin-powers-soul-of-chogokin-gx-72-rangers-megazord/I never had any issue with the shoulders. My issues were: - Forearms that dont lock - Hands that dont grip the accessories well - Lack of fixed posed hands - Weak knee combining mechanism - Weak hip joints - No head tilt - Limited articulation, but I can forgive this one since most SOC's are kind of limited in this department. I've never thought of parting with it because it is the best combining Megazord on the market, but the bar isnt very high with Megazord toys IMO. For $230 i think its a good deal, i would definitely feel better with that than with the $280 I paid

Speaking of NY,I have yet to get an email regarding my MP Blackarachnia preorder even when they demanded I pay them the 1st of this month. Would not mind if they were quick about shipping or if they gave me a more lax time window from late October. According to Amazon MP-46 is out on 11/23.

Geez. All this hostility over a single review that had some less than favorable experience with their GX-88 Dairugger. Look,my GX-72 OG Megazord is not the best toy it could be as many have said for it and its compatriots but ﹰI am fine with said criticisms and they are valid. No futureproofing was done on ﹰGﹰX-72 that hurt the Ultrazord. GX-78 and 85 were not that much of an upgrade from the Legacy versions though with Dragonzord I can forgive as it fixed the floppy mess issue the Legacy Megadragonzord had. You can like a toy even if it isn't perfect cause no toy is. But let it be known for those who want this that this is literally most likely going to be the only modern Dairugger that will be as solid as the SoC. The old Popy is only more solid due to being a brick that does not do as much but the Miracle Toy was known to be fiddly as all Hell. Yup all the wobbliness of the Miracle and the wanting to skate its legs open are gone with the SOC. I agree with you, dont think it will get much better than this

Given how long I've waited for it on NY, I'm kinda annoyed that I didn't wait for Amazon ... sigh... the things we get ourselves into with this hobby... I would advise anyone to avoid NY. They are taking one to three weeks to fulfill orders after release.

For anyone who has Dairugger in hand, how well does it generally hold together in combined mode? Solid, no real wobbly connection points.

Got a chance to open GX-88 Dairugger. Really good SOC in my opinion. Last combining SOC i got was GX-72 Megazord and that was trash to me. This one combines solidly and is 1000 times better than the old Miracle Vehicle Voltron I had. My only complaints are the weak shoulder joints and the helicopter propellers that are held on with very little friction. I also thought i would be using the fixed pose hands more but the perfect transformation ones dont bug me as much in person as they did in the preview pics. Overall I can say im really happy with it
