So do you guys have any suggestions of some trusted overseas stores that have good reputations and shipping doesn't cost and arm and a leg to ship to Canada?

Yeah, now that you pointed out the differences I see what you mean. Now I guess it is a race to see who has the finished product. I have a question for you guys....Where are some good overseas stores that I can buy 3rd party stuff and Masterpiece Transformers? Places where shipping to Canada wont cost an arm and a leg.

They look pretty close, I wonder if Omnigonix didn't partner with Badcube. Omni has not been very vocal with updates or anything lately.

And if you go with the Hasbro edition it is even cheaper. In the $149.99 USD neighbourhood.

I don't know. I have the iGear Weapons Specialist standing in for a MP Ironhide, but I'm not totally in love with the Takara version. I did switch out the head on the iGear guy to the more "robot" looking face and I find it does a really good job. I have a problem to sort out now. LOL

I think he looks pretty good, but the face seems a bit off to me. I can't put my finger on it though.

face looks a little different too. One on the left has big eye brows, right doesn't seem to have them and the eyes look different.

Where would one get Carry from? My Hasbro Rodimus's shoulder just broke, would love to get a better sculpt. Am in Canadaland,, if that matters... Canadaland, me too! Automaton is a very good Canadian site that does carry Carry. www.automatontoys.com/dx9-d06-carry/

Got Badcube's Wardog today! Transformation is pretty complex but well worth it! With a placement of a faction sticker just below the main turret barrel, he takes his place in the ranks of my MP Autobots!
Also got DX9 Cocomone (Gobot Crasher). She is a really nice figure too. Lots of people seemed to find that her face is a little off. I took a long look at it and decided there was something. So I did a search of the cartoon face and noticed that in every pic she had pupils in her eyes, almost cat like. So I took a fine point sharpie and drew them on. I think it finished her and she looks great standing next to DX9 Salmoore (Cy-kill)!

Not totally getting the right vibe off these guys. They look almost too young. I have the !Gear vans for my stand in Ironhide and Ratchet. They fit into the group pretty well.

I think the market is quickly going to become over saturated and we are going to have a 3rd party crash. Too much stuff, is coming out at too fast a rate for most collectors to get all of them. Some companies might fail because of this. It all seems exciting at first, but even now its making me have to be even picker about what I collect since there are so many of the same character coming out at the same time. I for one agree with you! For example just this week I got hit with an invoice for 2 3rd party company MP style figures(FT06 "Snarl" and FT09 Tesla "Perceptor"). The release dates were supposed to months apart and the store I deal with says both will be arriving soon and requires payment. individually they are expensive but I could have managed to pay cash for 1 at a time, but with the exchange from Canadian to US being only .78 on the dollar I ended paying just a bit over $400 for both with shipping included, hello credit card. It is getting a bit expensive lately and more companies seem to be popping up weekly. It is forcing me to be more selective and price aware.

I like what I've seen so far. The prototype plastic looks grainy, I assume it was "printed" and not injected into molds??

If it is a "G1" Macross Mac II Monster, it does not transform at all.

This just a sketch. Alot could and probably will change from this concept to the actual released toy. FT seems like a company who listens to the fans for the most part and they have done outstanding jobs on the other dinobots to date. So I'm taking the "hurry up and wait" stance on this until we get an actual prototype.
