As a kid I had always wanted the G1 dinobots but we were too poor and I always knew better than to ask my folks for them. Fast forward 25 years later I finally have a set of the baddest autobot squad to ever grace the television screen. Yes, it is a KO set and no it is not perfect. However, I finally have the silly set

hmmm... if its anything like Franky's I'd be stupid happy... its a marvel of engineering when you play with functional plastic treads i tell you...

Just got this big bad mofo...
Never owned the original but wow is all I can say.... I know the color scheme may not appeal to all but I think overall this is making me wanting to own the original color scheme piece all the same... the overall quality and detail that went into this piece is just top notched... and unlike the experience I had with my getter 3 with all the freaking paint smudges this one was just about near perfect. Just wow...

Hold on a minute here... no one said anything about plastic rolling treads....is this true are you telling me that GGG has plastic rolling treads like the one similar to the Frankie SOC toy? ... Really? From what I saw in pics, yes it does. I noticed the treads are segmented and each segment not only looks practically straight, but is also connected to the adjacent ones only in the center by hinges. So I'm 99% sure that GGG has working plastic treads, just like the SoC General Franky hehe that's why I want to see that in video, I'd play with Drill Gao a lot hehe... now i'm actually giddy with joy and impatience to get a hold of mine... though i have to wait for a few more items to come in before i do my warehouse shipping... sigh... but plastic rolling treads are freaking awesome!.. i know there's a lot of heartache over Frankie within the SOC kingdom, but it has the coolest plastic rolling treads to date on a toy and if nothing else I think of Frankie as a prototype for future toys with tank treads made of plastic that rotate.

Yes they do, the lower mid-sections below the elbow ratchets does rotate. My KOB were tight as well but they do rotate and after a few poses they now turn with ease. Thank you man but let me get it right because im not 100% sure you got what i mean my friend i know the section next to the head (the chest & the stomach section) rotate but what i mean is the mid section (elbow) rotate as well ? it looks like it is molded there and i didnt see any post for KOB holding the the Blazing sword with two hands yet if you see Toynami version the elbow rotate 360ْ easily so i was wondering before i do any force in the wrong place I dont think that part rotates. At least not on my KOB.

A question to the guys who have the KOB dose the elbows (green & red lions mid section) rotate ? my unit joints are insanely tight so i dont know for sure dose it rotate or not Yes they do, the lower mid-sections below the elbow ratchets does rotate. My KOB were tight as well but they do rotate and after a few poses they now turn with ease.

I didn't get the original given all the QC complaints regarding the wings... here's hoping this one doesn't have that issue. I am loving the color scheme on this one more than the original something about it just makes it pop more.

No worries Baron I'm just glad to see people are getting their purchases fulfilled and that this KOB release is looking spectacular for most folks Not particular fond of ebonics myself, but english is my second language so I may accidentally mess up in grammar from time to time in that department.

I just got mines today after 5 days of wait time in circulation... inspected the first one will look at the 2nd one later for QC issues tonight at home. (Opening too many toys in the office is probably not a good idea...lol) Thus far it seems to have a minor deal with the red lion's head not firing well, due to heavy paint application and yellow lion leg connection point seems a lot weaker than the blue lion. I have seen it pop off a few times now as I am articulating its stances. No exploding feet yet. Definitely seeing some paint rub happening on the yellow lion's leg section on the black lion hind leg due to the weaker connection popping off a few times. Not noticing the paint app issue on mines very much yet. So folks who went with Airmail instead of EMS, there's a light at the end of that tunnel too
