Let's give time to someone and see on this... I refuse to let some big @$$h0Le win on this ... we should try to support the little indie creators on something that we all felt really cool about. Unlike some other douche bag for another controversial bot, at least visibility is provided to the supporters of this bot by this indie company.
Regardless, all this has only reconfirm one thing for me... how big of an @$$hoLe some buffoons with rights can be about things... If you're gonna own something F'in make something with it and quite giving genuine fans of bot crap that we don't want.

it will definitely be smaller / shorter than the MA-01. I have stood godsigma soc next to my ma-01 dairugger before and it was indeed shorter.

I paid 275 for it which is not cheap by KO standards I would say, but then again I haven't seen one of these around in general and based the golion Korean KOs i have i know its rather hard to find usually which with added curiosity of wondering this thing actually would connect even made me pull the trigger.
The bot does combine and when combined it measures exactly the same size as the original DX voltes V 12 - 13 inches as magengar had noticed already I didnt want to stress out the connector points too much as it is all plastic unlike the original DX. The gimmicks work at least the firing bigger missile and fist is concern as I didnt want to break the smaller missiles from the original sprue tree and the bot connects rather snuggly. One of these days I'll take photo of it with my godaikin voltes DX for comparisons.
I fell in love with the box art and was just too darn curious on whether it would connect or not myself. So yeah had to get it to try it out myself hahaha....

Quality is your typical sub par korean plastic with whacky colors and random gimmicks everywhere. The wheels roll, the fist launches, there are missiles that does fire and the missiles themselves are in silver. The pieces do connect but they're plastic in construction unlike the original so over time excessive play wear will most likely affect the toy at the connection points. Overall, in comparison with the original articulation is pretty darn close. The arms swing 360 degrees, the elbows bend up to almost 90 degrees with its double jointed construction, the knees bend slightly as well allowing a slight bend to the figure when connected. I didn't try to jam the pieces together too hard for fear of breaking the pieces at the connector points as stated earlier. The fit is snug and tight between the legs and feet and head, the torso can be connected tighter but I didn't want to apply too much force like i said earlier.
The wheels on the legs and crotch area are permanent so you can't really hide them, though i'm sure you can probably remove them .... but that would leave unsightly holes in certain areas of the bot haha...
I just thought it was a really interesting replica from the original source material and definitely deserved some attention given how odd and rare it seemed.... I should probably display this with my other Korean KO golions for a photo op one day ...

Very well said.
though i do have to say my GX-13 has color fading going on in the grey plastic areas of the toy and I hardly play with my socs other than for display. So this is an interesting topic to some degree. I have vintage stuff as well as a lot of modern gokin toys...but i have to say aside from paint chipping and the occasionally yellowing of white plastic in them chunky monkey robotech toys, most of the vintage stuff seems to be holding on to its form relatively well even well beyond 20 to 30 years in some cases now.

I'm hoping the inner frame or more specifically the inner torso where the train inserts to form the arms is at least die-cast. I think if it isn't that might a point of contention for stress issues to arise overtime as folks convert gaigar to form gaogaigar due to playability/transformation wear and tear. Doesn't have to be completely die-cast just a hollow frame to provide additional support would be ideal but who knows maybe Bandai is putting up some magical high grade new PLASTICLOY that allows manhandling

AWWWWW Nuts...!!! After those ridiculous pics I had to get one.... I'm a sucker for those 180 degree side kicks with die cast madness .... So anyone else thinking the special gimmick could be a light up feature or perhaps one of them nifty voltron keys perhaps? If it really is truly for everyone purchased a Matty version crumbles I might just by a few more ... lol
"Miracle... achem... I mean Madtoys" team thanks for filling our inner voided need for golion in absences of a SOC version from Bandai... and damn you again WEP.

The one on the right is yet another Taiwanese KO of the GB-72 as featured by Chachi Power of RocketPunchArmy as shown below: It's essentially a KO of this guy: toyboxdx.com/datafiles/data/popy_data/gb/gb72.htmThe plastic version you have is most likely yet another taiwanese KO of the gb-73 toy which featured pure plastic mode injections to form the dairugger bot. I remember seeing these as a kid in Hong Kong being sold individually as blind boxes to form the Dairugger bot. Given the box styling and its original heritage I'd say yours is definitely a keeper. A lot of other specimens I've seen in the past tends to not have all of the supporting plastic pieces as those tend to get lost relatively easily

I'm a fan of Dairugger XV as it was one of the few childhood memories I had a long time ago... At this point I'm not the biggest Dairugger fan in the world but my army of Dairuggers continues to grow... one of these days I will need to photograph the collection. Found thus: - Popy Dairugger XV DX - Victoria Crystal Dairugger - Mecha Gold Dairugger - Victoria Mecha Gold version Dairugger - Popy GB-73 Dairugger - China KO plastic one - LSA Dairugger XV DX - 3.5" Dairugger KO diecast - Miracle Production Dairugger XV - Toynami Jumbo Dairugger - Toynami 9" Dairugger Black version And the new kids below: The fabled Taiwanese KO for GB-73 Here they are side by side... I know there are more as these guys were repro like mad for a long time... but i'm not hardcore enough to go as far as some folks have... I'm still looking for: - Deluxe Kikougattai XV DX - Popy GB-72 Not sure if there's anything else I would get...but if anyone has anything else I should try to add to this list give a post... Cheers...

So here's a more interesting question for the design team that worked on this release of Tryder G7 as it is pretty obvious that the same team that did the Danguard worked on this one. Would they be willing to go back to the drawing board for Danguard and scale the s.o.b up a bit. The engineering is already there, we just need them to add some magic water to make it grow a bit more (like maybe 3" more) and I'd be a happy camper. Don't get me wrong the original release has its merits but its just missing this one final element and they'd would of knocked it out of the park.

Here are some pics for folks though I'm sure someone will do a detail job on reviewing this guy. Overall, it's a very solid figure. The matte blue finish combined with well balanced engineering speaks volumes with this figure, though I don't think he's heavier than the Mazinger DX. Articulate fingers... About the same height as Yamato's patlabor Deep elbow bind and gigantic cannon Cockpit opening... Light up eyes...and attaching a gun to pack requires a bit of work to get both going...
