I'm hoping the order comes thru on my end for this guy, really surprised to hear the HK release will be after JP seeing how the company is located in HK guess I'll just have to wait a little longer.

Had a feeling this would be one of the hidden gems of the year... saw the earlier interview by the HKTOY guys and the lead toy designer for this gokin, during the interview he was asked why did POSE+ decide to tackle this guy. His response, this gokin was selected out of love, and like much of the old school popy toy collectors from HK he promised this will have the right heft and feel that fans should be looking for along with all the wheels being fully integrated unlike the original popy of old. How toy engineering/manufacturing has indeed come along over the years

I just got mine fron Nippon Yassan today. The packaging was outstanding. Credits to them for making sure no space was available in the box for the package to move around and get crumpled. Bubble wrap was tight all around. Got mine... technically... I just missed the postman yesterday Saturday morning... So I have to pick it up from the post. Still waiting....

If the weapons set actually have launching gimmicks then I would be interested, nothing like nostalgia to get us older collectors looking again

They are both great the red comet and dairugger ... it'll be hard to choose between the two for TOTY. It's like Bandai decided to answer my demands for the past decade or so finally by releasing a high end zaku figure and my childhood saturday morning cartoon show in the same year. They are both really great examples of why Bandai is known as the best in their industry. Based on engineering I'd have to go with Dairugger GX-88, but damn that Red Comet Zaku just swoons in coolness like no other metal build gundam I have in my collection How is the right red copter arm doing for your dairugger? I think my copy just has a weaker right shoulder ratchet I had it fully inserted the first go around. At 90 degrees and up the ratchet will hold the arm pose fine but at the lower downward angles, it will fall down back to resting pose with the slightest of shakes. Oh well, I still love it LOL it's a really solid release from Bandai even with my minor gripe. I know as I have a lot of Bandai SOC's to compare and I can say this is by far one of their better releases with a crap ton of toy engineering effort was put into it.

I've heard that the Megazord is a step down from Voltron, so I think my expectations should be ready. It just had as big an impact on my youth as Voltron, so I should go ahead and have one in my collection. GGG was also the first mecha show I got into when I started watching anime as a hobby, so he's a must. Golion (Voltron) will destroy your expectations of what the Megazord could of been. In a way I felt Bandai almost seems to have rushed the Megazord out, it could've been a lot more than what was given I'll just leave it at that. Gaogaigar is another must if you are curious of what Bandai is really capable of if they put effort into a release. (I'm still in awe at how the Dairugger XV came out, was sort of expecting less articulation than what I'm seeing..).

I'll give them until Friday and then, get PP involved. I'm ordering from somewhere else or just having one toy versus two as I'm pretty sure BBTS is not up to this sort of shenanigans. Whelp, looks like I'm stuck on NY's endless wait list as well. Ended up putting in a second order at Amazon out of an abundance of caution/concern. Probably will end up getting that one faster, and for less. The only thing keeping me from going the PP refund route is that I also have a less replaceable paid pre-order for the DX VF-1S through them. Guess I'm banking on NY just being terrible at fulfillment rather than outright thieves. I'm kinda in the same boat with the VF-1S as well so you're not alone

My right shoulder joint (vertical rotation) soft ratchet is a little loose in comparison to my left shoulder, making it hold sword poses a little tricky with slight shakes as I handle the figure. I'm hoping this is just a minor issue with mine. That's normal. I have the same issue but the trick to that is you have to fully insert it to the body then. Try this, before you fully insert the arm, do a Superman flying pose on a plank position. the right shoulder should fall. Then insert it fully and do the same. It should not fall. I'll try later tonight when I get home from work and see if that resolves it... I think I had it inserted fully the first time, the ratchet is just a little softer on my right shoulder than my left shoulder, it can still hold a sword pose at 90 degrees but at a lower 45 or 30 degree angle it tends to flop back down to a standing pose position. Thanks for the plank position suggestion, I still love the new dairugger will post some pics later when I have time of my dairugger collection...

I just got mine from another seller, I'm not sure what folks were saying about it being light. It isn't light, I seriously think golion really spoiled us . I do noticed that my shoulder ratchets could be a little tighter and the helicopter propellers do come off easily as many have spoken to already. Its beats MM dairugger no doubt with the connection points and stability especially with the roller feet challenges of the old removed from this release. Definitely a must get for those who are Dairugger fans. Paint apps are clean and sharp as expected from Bandai. So Bandai, when are we getting a DX version for this guy? You’re talking about the shoulder tightness that does the lateral/side movement, yes? Fyi, I still have the toydojo preorder if anyone wants it but not sure how the shipping will be to anyone’s location for those who want it. They sent me an invoice already. My right shoulder joint (vertical rotation) soft ratchet is a little loose in comparison to my left shoulder, making it hold sword poses a little tricky with slight shakes as I handle the figture. I'm hoping this is just a minor issue with mine.

It may not be, but still, its the best were going to get, and probably the last Vehicle Voltron we'll ever see from Bandai. The fact that Bandai even decided to released this was a surprise, since they didn't really have too. Having both the GX-71 and GX-88 finally after years of wishing, is in my opinion, superior. Couldn't have said it better myself. While not perfect, agree with the statements above. Still hoping for a DX version (maybe I'll see one in a decade from now... ) come on Bandai I can wait another decade for it LOL

I'm really annoyed with NY right now, still no update or a peep from them seriously thinking about going PP route. At this rate, I'll be getting the U.S. release of Dairugger before I see anything from them... .sigh..

I'll hold out ordering more until I get Baxinger in hand. Based on the YT videos I've seen, Pose+ is suppose to be a decent outfit potentially...

Given how long I've waited for it on NY, I'm kinda annoyed that I didn't wait for Amazon ... sigh... the things we get ourselves into with this hobby...

After I get this from Nippon Yasan I am going to seriously consider wether to do any more business with them in the future. This is the worst wait for a released item I have ever had. I cut ties with them, used to be good but I rather have my business elsewhere... hopefully you get this figure to me is just fine and looks good in hand... Wondering if somehow they're getting their release as part of releases outside of Asia countries... but yeah the wait is annoying as I wait like everyone else for it to show up

Oh no.. for Pete's sake.. NO. I am from Singapore. Just to share a few thoughts from comments I have seen on the video. I do apologize for the glitches that happened during the review but I still pride it as being one of the most honest one-take video with no editing done. My purpose since the beginning when I started doing reviews, is to give honest and non-professional reviews. Non-professional in the sense that I don't edit or cut videos if I make mistakes along the way. I am just out there to share, not to become some celebrity youtuber or to earn big revenue out of the videos i do. On the figure, it is excellent but for sure you need to be careful when doing poses cos some parts may come apart. Maybe it's just me being clumsy in the middle of 1:30am in the morning while reviewing this figure. And maybe it's cos i was stretching the limits of the figure to see how far the knee bends. Or maybe my piece has some minor QC issues. Bottomline, I love and enjoy my toys and if parts falling part, paint chipping or parts breaking is part of an honest review, then this honesty is what every collector should know to make an informed decision on whether this figure is worth it. And I also encourage everyone to look at different reviews of the same figure to get more opinions.' Thanks again to everyone who watch my videos. Charles- Been a long time fan of your honest reviews, good to know you're still providing them so keep it up. Being a Dairugger fan from my forgone days in Asia I am eagerly awaiting for mine to arrive here in the states. I know that it takes a lot of time from folks like you to provide these reviews so Thank You! Please keep it up.
