Given everything that is going on, I wonder if this release will be delayed out by a year for things to return back to normal so that the price tag doesn't seem so out of reach for a lot of folks right now.

Finally got this guy. This is superior mecha figure. This is top tier. I do not know who the heck Baxingar is but I am a fan now thanks to POSE +. If this came out last year, this should be Robot Toy of 2019. Better than SOC Dairugger. More Articulation, ratchet joints, amazing paint job. POSE + should go ahead and do the following : Voltes V Combattler V Daimos Daitarn There are flaws though on my copy. One is the leg ratchet on the black bike is not as tight as the other but the cover of the blue bike is not as tight as the black. No Paint issues that I encountered yet. Still this is the best. Couldn't agree with you more, you can really feel the love that they put into Baxinger. I hope they continue down the line of obscure super robots as well as well known ones.

Haha... that would be pretty awesome. I was hoping Bandai would take it the other direction and give us a SOC DX version of golion and dairugger (one can dream I guess...)

If bandai does a re-engineering of the Dancouga gx-13 with this new blackwing then I might reconsider. The original GX-13 while awesome for its time is a bit dated from my perspective so not sure how this will look if the new blackwing looks leagues more modern when standing next to it.

Yeah I remember the transformation sequence from the cartoons quite vividly so I can see why it may impact some old school die hard fans.

kuma, not sure if this will impact your youtube search results but the title for the video review is referencing P.02 GoShogun, just a heads up

Yes please. I heard a lot of really great things about it but, I'd LOVE to hear about what you didnt like about the figure. Like things they can improve on the future products so they can be even better. After handling my copy of this release for a few days, things to improve on: - more hardware for the side hip articulation for the legs, not sure if this is an engineering limitation but unlike goshogun, which has universal ratchets, baxinger's side to hip articulation is on tension joints. - would of been nice if the elbows could be double jointed. Again i'm guessing this was limited due to engineering on hiding the wheels in place thus limiting room movement.. as this is rectify with goshogun but goshogun wasn't a combiner... - slightly higher grade plastic for the sword handles, it just feels like one grade below bandai's accessories in comparison. - this might just be a secret sauce to bandai's materials engineering, but the metal alloy on gokins coming from other companies seems to have a lighter feel to them. Again this may have something to do with their main goal of supporting high pose ability vs. just a heavy chuck of die-cast statue love on a display case. But it would of been nice if there was just a heftier feel like by another 200 grams would of been nice. Again this could just be bandai spoiling us collectors with some their more recent SOC releases. ** these are all nit picks when you get right down to it and shouldn't take anything away from baxinger. I'm super impressed by this release and very very happy that someone had the guts to work on a release for baxinger. The overall presence, sculpt, play value, attention to detail with the overall combiner and individual vehicles can really give bandai a good run for its money. I'd be really curious to see if they ever could get their hands on a combattler v or voltes v or daltanious or heck even a golion license to see what they could do with it. Somehow I feel they may pull off some really strong releases on any of those gokin offerings if given a chance.

I'm doing my top 2019 list and it's looking like this is numero uno but what are you guys' thoughts? In fact, what could've been done better? I'd say Baxinger deserves the #1 spot in 2019, after spending more time I'd say between the two Pose+ releases it gets a higher mark for being a combiner with superb articulation. My list of top 2019 releases: - Baxinger - Dairugger - Metal Composite Gundam Char Zaku II - Metal Build Crossbone Gundam X2 - Bandai DX VF-1S honorable mention goes to fans toys spoiler and transformer siege jetfire releases I really hope everyone that PO a Baxinger gets one, I was waiting for this guy for quite some time and somehow ended up with both pose+ release arriving on the same day. He's worth the wait.

ok i'm officially a fan of this company, there are some areas that bandai is still the king of the hill on but if these guys continue to hone in on their efforts they can really give bandai a run for its money.
Baxinger is an under noticed figure of 2019, I still love the dairugger for various nostalgia reasons, but this guy literally can hold a high side kick pose kicking dairugger's head is just silly fun. I just wish it had side hip ratcheted joints like goshogun does. It seems like the company is still learning, I do have some concerns with the leg connectors locking mechanisms being plastic clips but perhaps this is a non-issue as it does lock in quite well. Some tolerance issues when I was connecting the missile to the gun pods, mainly due to paint. The heft on this guy isn't bad, but don't expect soul of chogokin level heft. I think Golion and to some degree Dairugger even left me with a different expectation when it comes to heft surround chogokin at 26 cm levels these days. Paint job looks on par with Bandai and is really well done.
I did run into a QC issue with my Goshogun, the mini bot's right backpack wing will not fold, seems like a badly joined wing, i almost bent it off trying to move not realizing it was stuck and probably won't be moving anytime soon. So be careful when you open yours and take a really close look at the wing segments. Goshogun is more polished between the two, but then again it isn't a combiner. Really strong ratchets where it is needed and the pose-ability on this one is just ridiculous for a gokin this size. I really love the shoulder pads on Goshogun and its spring mechanism is really nice touch. I wish Goshogun had articulate hands but minor nitpick. The presence of this guy looks really nice standing next to Golion and Dairugger. He fits with them nicely. I don't have the batteries to try out the go flash effect, but he looks amazing standing next to the old school gokin and cms goshogun.
Both figures feel really solid overall, and Pose+ has establish itself as a contender to watch out in their future releases... I'm now tempted to pick up the gold lightan even though I already have the bandai soc one. decisions decisions...

Just got mine along with Baxinger, somehow they both ended up arriving at about the same time. I have feeling this is gonna tickle a majority of my boxes in what I look for in a modern chogokin from my old hometown in HK. Just really awesome to see other companies coming up to take on Bandai in this craft and super excited to see what else these guys will come up with next. With as much as I like Baxinger getting it along with Goshogun at once would give me hype overload. Yeah, luckily or unfortunately I'm at work right now so all temptation to get overloaded will have to wait until later tonight.

It's the best version of Dairugger XV to date. I think for a 15 piece combiner Bandai took things to heart and attempted a very well done piece. I love Golion in all its glory, but I tend to keep the two separate given how it feels like we are attempting to compare an orange to an apple. In the end, while not perfect, I'm very happy with my updated Dairugger (just wished it had a rocket lunching fist gimmick like my popy ones did )
