this was very short review ! usually wotafa do a detailed review I wonder why this time didn't go into details. how is feedback so far? This was just the unboxing Full review is coming soon Really love wotafa's excitement when he gets new stuff. That child-like enthusiasm is why we collect. When he picked up the Garbin (blue) figure, his reaction to the diecast heft was awesome.
yeah, couldn't agree more 👌

On the contrary, Mandarake is being really good. I have been ordering from them finding cheaper deals and older stuff through out this year, at least with 4-5 purchases. Zero issue, decent DHL rates, and once they confirmed the order and checked item in stock, the things show up within 3-4 days. So... Place doesn't suck: MANDARAKE I had a terrible experience with mandarake!! I bought a metal composite Zaku and it got stuck in shipping , they respond to email is just awful ! used to be very good but with this situation it is just terrible!

I would love to view his pictures. where can we see them? Don't know were to find his whole collection. Here are some hints if you want to google him up: - Tin's Work 真普選 (his logo with hidden HK political meaning, just copy and paste that in google and you'll find 10-12 toy photos of his, use the "see more" function in the image search after you click on one of his photos, sometimes it leads to a few more not in your initial search.) - His username on Toysdaily forum is just "Tin", if you know how to search his post there. - Some Japanese collector likes his photos and possibly located his real name "Tin Wai Ng", and instagram/photobucket username "tinngsmile", but not 100% confirm its him. That's all I've got, wish I can find more of his info. His more recent photos often has hidden political theme that reflects the current situation in HK like this above (injured protesters in HK), while his earlier photos are more straight forward toy shots. that is crazy good photo man.. how come it is hard to find his pictorial photos online ? thanks man that is very helpful.

Tin is just a Hong Kong collector that loves to photograph his toys. He used to be pretty active on Toysdaily forum, but as less people use that forum, I have not seen him there as much the past year or so, but don't know if he is completely gone or just slowed down posting stuff. I would love to view his pictures. where can we see them?

If Bandai announces a reissue/recolor/renewal (one of which is likely at some point), we'll have no problem blowing past 200! well i just read for a new 2021 re issue for august so far for 30k yenes, around US 300.00 Not sure if to get it or not, i already own two go lion voltrons none of them from Bandai and i think thats good enough for me, i love voltron, dont get wrong, but not as much to have so many dif vers View AttachmentView AttachmentView AttachmentOh man , if you have to get only one then this is the one to get! it is one of the best SOC produced no question about that! just for that fact you should get one to experience it in hand , later you can resell it if you feel you can live without but , if you like gokin then you should get this one! it is THAT GOOD !

absolutely loving this photo. the pose, the angle, the lighting are all just epic. Bandai should hire this guy to do the official photos sorry for reviving this old thread , but where can I view the rest of the photos by this artist, Tim? his photos are just terrific.

oooohhh ... that was fast .. I was wondering when are you going to post your review.. thanks man Thanks Chogokinabdul. Yeah I was really planning to get the Harlock Arcadia and Black Wing done first for the sake of chronological order, but a good friend requested that I do the Voltes ASAP as a personal favor. So I got that done first. Hope you enjoyed it. Got to love the customs. They created a window on the brown box to make sure the inside is safe Holy Smokes!!! That's terrible!! Gold Ah man , because of your review now I am kicking my self for not buying one!! and yes, I can't wait for your arcadia review so I can kick myself even more

Hi guys, here's my review for the SOC DX Voltes. Kindly click on the image to jump to the review. An incredibly amazing set. I hope folks will be able to get theirs at fair prices. The secondary market prices are insane, even here in Manila. Sorry if this was already mentioned earlier but here's an important headsup regarding the combination: Remember to pull the hips to the side before connecting the Frigate and Panzer, otherwise you risk damaging the connectors if you force them together as is. First press on the release button on the back of the Frigate, then gently pull the hips to the sides, once the gaps are visible, connect the Panzer, then press the button again and squeeze the hips back into place to lock the Panzer in. Gold oooohhh ... that was fast .. I was wondering when are you going to post your review.. thanks man

nope ... I missed it , now I know it is sold only on their 1:1 gundam site. I will try hunting at Mandarake. Scroll up. There is a vendor that carries it. hmmm , nin nin is sold out, lunar Park is waaay over priced. I will ditch the idea if it is that hard to get.

So DX Voltes V is about 1400 Grams. Not a heavy weight, but I wouldn't say it is light either. Being roughly the weight of two GX-31 Voltes, that sounds about right. From some of the older Gold's review data, the SOC weights as follow: Combattler V 600 Grams Daimos 650 Grams Voltes V roughly 700 Grams Daltanious 874 Grams Daitarn 927 Grams Godsigma 1086 Grams Godmars 1135 Grams Ideon 1382 Grams that is good weight, DX combattler is about 1640 grams so little heavier.

I am still on the fence here! part of the problem is the shipping of course but one of the reasons for me is that this release feels less premium than the previous DX releases ! it is less special ! I know this sounds crazy but I can say there is two factors for this feeling (for me at least)
A. the popy tribute package that is very different from what the classy previous releases broughtto us.
B. the details is also a mixture between the anime and the classical popy toy and that is something new in the dx soc line.
this clearly cater more towards the classical popy dx chogokin fans.

a semi unpacking kind of funny review of the DX Voltes and a very detailed review So why is the first one having a hard time connecting the Panzer to the Frigate whereas the second video, it was so easy and smooth as silk? What did he miss? I have no idea, but that what makes it funny 😄
