I have both Bandai GX-13R and Sentinel Dancouga, and I must say I prefer the SOC. Mainly it is due Bandai' size, and clean design. If you prefer a simpler, cleaner, more accurate to the animation (Not Obari), stick with the SOC. Although Sentinel's version is highly detailed and modernized in engineering, it is not worth $400+.
For its size tho, it does have a good heft to it.
I might just sell mine.

Quick question to those that have ordered from BBTS. Have any of you selected UPS Ground? How quickly did it get to you? I use UPS ground all the time. I live in NY so it usually arrives in 4-5 business days.

thanks Chen, and clay rebel, so definitively, the tetsujin is the same whether its gx44 or gx-44s? Exactly the same figure, same paint work.

Baron, that is good to know. the only SRC I have is the Fat getter, so this is reassuring.
Chen, thanks for the tip. are these HK based shops trustworthy? seems like the Black getter is only $41.59, whereas BBTS is $129. too good to be true?

Hey guys,
Anyone know where I can still pre-order this? Seems like everywhere I check, its sold out. I prefer buying from a US based shop, but at this point, any reputable online retail store will do.
thanks

Thanks to Lejam, I was able to purchase this outstanding piece. Chen is correct, the paint work on this is amazing, as most Bandai SOC's share. If you're looking for a Tetsujin 28, this is the figure to own. Almost 85% diecast too.

If you can find one for a reasonable price, definitely grab it without hesitation! What would be called a reasonable price? I'm seeing around 320+. Will that be the norm? Thanks for the insight btw. $320+ is kind of high. If you can find it under $300 shipped, I'd say thats reasonable for this rare item. Although Amazon had 6 of them in stock recently (all sold out now), for $223 + shipping. Thats the manufacture retail price, which will be the best price you'll find. I think a member here mentioned they were going to restock again, so I would check Amazon frequently. I hope you find one because it's an amazing chogokin.

Hi guys, Kinda new to the die cast toy game. Last toy I had was a Voltes V when I was younger. What are the chances the prices drop for this version of Voltes V? Want to know if I should pull the trigger now or wait for a deal. If you can find one for a reasonable price, definitely grab it without hesitation!

I have a MIB opened, displayed GX-31V respect for Volt in box for sale. THIS IS NOT THE 40th ANNIVERSARY EDITION ***The crotch joint is very loose which is why I am selling it*** Everything is included except the sticker sheet. The chrome parts are still attached to the sprues, never cut. All paperwork, box, accessories are included. I am asking for $200 USD, free shipping for all United States members. otherwise, international members will pay for EMS shipping. Photos will be taken per request. If this does not sell here, I will post on Ebay at a higher price. My price is firm and non negotiable, but I feel it is very reasonable for this very rare piece. All inquiries are welcome

For those of you who are wondering... I recently purchased a sealed GX31V respect for volt, and compared it to my 40th Voltes. It seems that the 40th has a much MUCH tighter crotch joint. I remind you, my respect Voltes was sealed, so the crotch is tight, but feels it will loosen with a little play. However, the 40th crotch is solid. no signs it will wear anytime soon. ankle joints on the 40th is tighter as well, compared to the Respect version.
Perhaps Bandai made some joint improvements on the 40th?
