Received this reply from TFSource/ToySource after asking about Voltron again Thank you for the follow-up! Yes, I understand that we're still anticipating the preorder's listing to go up soon. I haven't received a definitive timeframe for the listing to go 'live', so keep checking for updates! Thank you for choosing TFsource. Sincerely, Jeremy TFsource Customer Support www.TFsource.com - Your source for Masterpiece Transformers, Fansproject Customs, Hasbro Transformers, Transformers Prime, Vintage G1 Toys and more! Weird that they're so far behind everyone else.

Just a curious note. Amazon is not offering the re-issue of the GX-72 megazord for preorder. They also don’t have a preorder for the GX-40R God Mars up. The last Soul of Chogokin that went up for preorder was the GX-85 Titanus. Perhaps Amazon isn’t getting preorders of the SOC line anymore? I'm wondering the same thing. Toy source also hasn't listed. What's going on with them?

Now that Bandai Japan and WEP are in bed together knowing there is a super strong market for SOC Golion, you can bet your entire collections that there will be an R version and also a DX version down the line. I can't imagine the cluster F of what those two preorders will be like. don't worry. My order is the 15th and I ordered two! They said they would revise all orders to 1 per customer. Therefore, you are definitely saved! You can thank me later The way I read eknight's email, I think they just counted the first 50 orders, regardless of how many you ordered since all orders will only be for 1. Now he'd be saved if you placed 2 separate orders (I would hope)....

I missed by 3. Wonder what the odds are someone won't pony up the $20 deposit.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if Bandai normally produces more or less for reissues? I'm still surprised at how hard it is to secure a pre-order for the reissue considering how easy it was for the original run. As folks here have mentioned, it didn't even sell out until weeks after it was released in the US. I realize demand might be greater now than before based on reasons already mentioned (Netflix, ppl missing out on original, etc). But then I go back to eknight's email about taking down their listing. They were only allocated 50 and had 140 orders in about 12 hours. Before that email came out, I thought they would've been allocated more than 50, and definitely would've received a LOT more than 140 orders. Assuming the US gets a large portion of the supply, it wouldn't appear that Bandai is producing that many figures.

I didn't get that email from Toy Dojo but some friends did. I guess my order is more likely to be filled. I ordered a minute or so after the listing came up on Toy Dojo, and I got the email. I actually posted the link here right after I ordered. I ordered on BBTS right after the link was posted here by someone else. But still no guarantee of whether they'll be fulfilled. It'll be interesting to see whether stores are able to fulfill all their preorders. With Toy Dojo, I think it's a standard CYA letter, just in case. Eddie's a good dude. He's not the type to pull the kinds of shenanigans that eKnight's pulling. I'm not sure then. I was stalking their site and placed my order before anyone posted it on the forums. Since i never got that email, I assumed I was early enough to secure an order. But ya, I've ordered from then before and have dealt with Eddie. I can also confirm he's a cool guy to work with.

That doesn’t even make any sense. Are they sending out 140 invoices? Are they then going to refund 90 people? Just let the 50 who ordered first know that their order is secure and put the other 90 on a waitlist if there are any cancellations. This Voltron business is getting bananas. But that makes too much sense...

Glad to hear, especially now that they're sold out too. I nearly had a heart attack and had to fight my computer to get it to confirm the payment. My order wasn't going through and I was getting nervous. It went through with PayPal luckily. Turned out my CC was declining it thinking it was fraud. And now all eyes are on you eknight.......

I have one from the original release so this is my 2nd. I previously pre-ordered from eknight waaaay after preorders started...weeks after the guarantee date, but still got it. And I do remember it being available at full retail shortly after it was in stock. Even the $450 listing from BBTS is sold out.... so yea, this is crazy.
I want a 2nd either to keep MISB, or to display as lions. Might just be crazy enough to buy a 3rd so I don't need to decide.

Easy to cancel with EE? Hesitant to order with sales tax and want peace of mind to cancel.

I ordered mine from Amazon Japan on Feb 16. They shipped it on the 19th and I got it on the 20th. As best I could figure out is 36 hours shipping time from Japan to Utah USA. Here's the crazy thing though, the cost for KB was ¥22,222 and shipping was only ¥1,200. I keep seeing really high shipping costs from other retailers but Amazon Japan only seems to charge me $11ish for Global Priority every time I order something. Are they not charging me correctly? Damn, nice! The price dropped. I bought too soon. I paid like $240usd. From where? Based on my CC, I was charged $211 shipped from Amazon JP

So for those in the US what is usually the best route to go when factoring in shipping and customs for an item this big? Normally when I buy an item this big over seas I do in person and have extra luggage just for that situation. I originally bought it from eknightmedia. I don't live in CA so saved on tax, and they give a PO discount. Think I paid around $270? But for my more recent SOC figures, I've ordered from Amazon JP. More of a personal preference ... price and speed I believe were negligible between it and eknight. If it matters, the US version of Voltron came with the sleeve. You'll get that from eknight but not Amazon JP.

Awesome, think I'll definitely pick another one up. So how does this usually work? Will it be available for PO from all the regular sites starting 3/1?

Anyone have an informed view on when the preorder would be available? I know a bunch of friends that are definitely in on this. Question is, do I need a 2nd?
