How much was the shipping? 6,600 Yen. All together it came to 26,600 Yen or $234.16 which is still a steal and one hell of a good deal when some are asking up to $500 for it, usually around $334.

In case Toywave can't come trough, I have got the Mandrake page loaded in English to the GaoGaiGar at 20,0000 Yen which is about $175 right now. I can deal with a damaged box as I am truly lusting for GX-68 right now. As it is a bit cheaper at Mandrake, do any of you have experience in canceling orders at Toywave? They will send you a quote and just tell them that youre not going to purchase it..or just simply dont pay it..they will cancel your order after 3 days Ok, thanks TJ. Ordered through Mandrake, did not see an option for SAL, only DHL and EMS so chose EMS.

Sorry guys. Wasn't sure how much time was left on the lightning deal. Just showed up in my email and immediately posted about it. I did click the link and saw it at $101. No worries man!!! Bbts still has him for $119 but abit expensive on the shipping end.. Yeah it rankles me I missed it too. Would have been exactly $101.00 with no shipping fees as a prime member. Going to have to sign up for their e-mails now to not miss out in the future.

Goldymarg is on Amazon's lightning deals today for $101 Argh, the deal is over. That's what I get for binging on GaoGaiGar Anime instead of paying attention to the boards.

Oh I will get GaoGaiGar come Hell or Heaven, LoL, pun intended(his final attack is Hell and Heaven). I am watching the series on Youtube at the moment on one of my few days off as a real estate broker.

I can gaurantee you that GX-70 DC Mazinger Z does have enough articulation to do just about any dynamic pose you may wish. Not Sentinel T-Rex Getter scale articulation but not much beneath it either. I don't think GX-70 can do the poses GX-45 can do. That's okay though. If you look at the Mazinger Z 70s TV show, he doesn't do many dynamic poses. GX-45 on the other hand is Shin Mazinger, a modern version of Mazinger and I do see him do dynamic poses in his series. True, nothing beats the GX-45 in the SoC line for articulation.

for me articulation is very important, it really helps when you want to take dynamic poses I can gaurantee you that GX-70 DC Mazinger Z does have enough articulation to do just about any dynamic pose you may wish. Not Sentinel T-Rex Getter scale articulation but not much beneath it either.

I know Bigbadtoystore.com still has him for like $140 before shipping and such. That is a good place to start. BBTS has Goldymarg GX-69 for $119.00 right now. Just pulled the trigger on the GX-68 GaoGaiGar at toyWave for $190.00 and am praying that they can honor the order after watching the COllectionDX review on him and seeing all the glowing reviews here.

I have to say, after having owned GX-01R and now GX-70 DC, I really do like GX-70 DC more. The sculpt is awe inspiring, the Scrander is much nicer. Additional Die Cast parts like the forearms are like icing on the cake. The lack of articulation doesn't bother me one bit as I am going to be displaying and not playing with GX-70 DC. All in all, one of the very best representations of Mazinger Z yet.

What's wrong with this picture? ;-) Besides the awfully angry looking pic of Mazinkaiser? Thanks to S_Gokin for helping me to understand IMGUR.

I am loving that I can display Mazinger with the Scrander but without the belt, I hate the belts over the many iterations as they tend to scratch and mar the finishes. I know this defeats the purpose of DC and Anime correctness but it still looks awesome. I ordered the 70vs set through AE, much less expensive but still too much for what you get. I'd be willing to pay 3 times as much for a few damage pieces though.

I'm annoyed at the gap between the two yellow diamonds in the Scrander belt. I read someone fixed it with tape. Can you please explain how you did this? Do others have the same issue with their scrander belt?? I had a gap too but maneuvering of the torso allowed it to close completely. If the figure is not absolutely straight backed with perfect posture, the belt will never fully close.

Woot! Got mine and love it except for a small blemish on his left shoulder pauldron. I wonder if HLJ will swap that out for me. I have never done biz with HLJ before so just don't know.
UPDATE: Sent HLJ a request to swap out the shoulder piece/pauldron.
Update 2: Wow, HLJ customer service is great. They replied super quickly and unfortunately the figure is sold out and discontinued so they can not obtain a replacement part for me but will be giving me a $30 discount off next order.

the gx-70vs release date is in Jun ? so not only they are milking it, but taking 4 months do it ? Yeah, I pre-ordered it from AE, grudgingly. I only want the Hover Pilder and the Scrander Fin with the Z logo on it.
