I wouldn't mind having a second one either but to display the vehicle modes and Gai Gar by himself too. Ugh that would necessitate a third order of the same figure to show Gai Gar as Galeon too. Ugh, FML! Ah well, consider it an investment and all worries go out the window. LoL. How many times have we all told ourselves this but luckily for us it is kinda true.

That's normal. Even the new GX-70 has some Scrander-issues... The only one that stays on well is the SRC. And that's because it cheats. The belt is separate from the Scrander. So the belt moves with the abdomen, the backpack with the torso. My scrander without the belt stays attached very well to the GX-70. I can pick him up by it and give it a shake and no worse for wear. Also my GX-70 can look as far left or right as I can crane my neck, he just needs to be looking a little bit down to clear the cowling on the back of his helmeted head.

Good to know. Is there anything to be done about it? Or basically it's there for posing and nothing more. For the GX-70 I am displaying with scrander on but no belt. I know it is not Anime or Manga correct but the belt has already left one slight blemish and I will have no more. I like the way it looks even more so than with the belt on. You can see in this pic two small blemishes left by the belt on the missile panel and just to the lower left of the panel. They weren't there before putting the belt on. At least the belt does close completely.

BTW, I can't tell from the review vids I watched but do GaoGaiGar's fists swivel down on the SoC like they do in the anime when attaching to the arms? Yup, spin spin spin. That little bit made a world of difference for me. Now that is awesome! That and the jewel moving into place automatically are stunning! I so cannot wait for him to arrive!

I want to thank you and the others f360, if not for you all and for you posting the links, I might have never been able to lay my hands on GX-68 GaoGaiGar. At Episode 36 now and really loving the anime which makes my desire for this wonderful chogokin exponentially more so. I Kind of skipped and watched the last few 8 minutes of the anime and know it ends on a sad note but what a ride it's been. you are welcome, let us know when you get it. Mandrake's damage box is probably just a small dent. They gave me a tracking number yesterday but EMS can't find it yet but that's not unusual in my experience, probably take another day to update. I chose the one that was opened for Quality Inspection with damaged box so am sure the figure will be in great shape.

Just got another e-mail from AmiAmi saying delayed yet again. After the Dai Apolon cancelation I am worried this figure may never see light.

Well the Big-O's body, not counting the arms. Yep i was referring to the height. I just hope they jam a lot of metal in this figure. My brother has the sentinel version and I like this soc much more in the looks department. Yeah the panel lines and the funky techno party wings bug me on the Sentinel version.

Woot! Mandrake is in the process of shipping for me! Once you pay them , their turn around time is normally pretty quick. And grayson , literally not one figure you mentioned there is up to par witg Sentinel's offerings in terms of engineering/articulation. Yes, I admit that Sentinel trounces Bandai in the articulation department but as far as engineering goes I was not referring to articulation. Gun Buster is a marvel of engineering just for how close they got to Anime Magic in reality. Voltron for the fit and finish and ingenious mechanics, GaoGaiGar for the same reasons as both Gunbuster and Voltron but even more so as the G-Stone in the forehead automatically pops out during transform and back in when untransformed plus more. Yes, sliding panels in the arms and legs or unique double joints are great but as I will be dispaying in mostly straight backed appearance due to shelf limitations the pose-ability does me little good.

Where Sentinel "wins" for me is making diecast toys, with modern stylings, good finish, but more than anything maintaining a level of engineering to where even a combiner like dancouga is as poseable as a Figuarts dbz figure. No doubt, Sentinel has awesome engineering. I look at the Getter 1 and Black Getter T-Rex designs, they are mind blowing in the engineering department but then so is GX-71, GX-68 and many more not to mention GX-34/R GunBuster.

I will definitely be waiting for GX-75 Mazinkaiser as it is taller, will more than likely have more die cast and I am not a fan of the price of Sentinel's offerings or all the panel lines on the figure that were not in the anime or Manga to my knowledge.

I have a friend with one of the original releases and it is stunning and articulated like just about nothing else but mostly plastic and way overpriced IMHO. I love Sentinel and want to support them but almost $400 for this is ridiculous. I mean Fewture they aren't and neither are they DX quality either. Fewture EZ Gokin toys use more diecast than DX stuff and are much more poseable. In fact, ArtStorm took the DX "idea," applied it to Optimus Prime with the Ultimetal and murdered everything about the DXes... but then again, that piece is $1k so... yea, unfair in a way but to tout the DX stuff like it's a standard is crazy, imo. Where Sentinel "wins" for me is making diecast toys, with modern stylings, good finish, but more than anything maintaining a level of engineering to where even a combiner like dancouga is as poseable as a Figuarts dbz figure. As much as I'm a Fewture "sleeper," there's no denying that the ex gokin stuff while pretty and technically poseable are pretty fragile due to the sheer heft of the diecast outters and up until the Getter G trio it wasn't uncommon for heavy pieces to just fall off NOT playing or posing them. It's a crappy feeling to pick up a chest piece from a Getter after it's fallen off and see a paint chip. Anyways, the Mazinkaiser was well worth $300 for me, so it's not hard to see the value of $350 (not $400) in a limited, exclusive chromed variant of it. I was including shipping there in the almost $400 quote.

Got this in the mail yesterday: I guess because Fewture is releasing their EX Gokin version? Kind of bummer as I prefer the 70's styling to Fewture's updated design style. I think it's just as likely that they did not see enough preorders.

And I mean really, this is plainly a move to capitalize on their existing molds before the Bandai GX-75 version of Mazinkaiser. Who knows, it may end up in the SALE bin like so many other Sentinel products. I have no doubt it is an awesome figure but is it GX-71 or DX quality, oh hells no it isn't. Do you own it to say it isn't that level of quality? I have a friend with one of the original releases and it is stunning and articulated like just about nothing else but mostly plastic and way overpriced IMHO. I love Sentinel and want to support them but almost $400 for this is ridiculous. I mean Fewture they aren't and neither are they DX quality either.

After seeing episode 21 of GaoGaiGar I really want GX-69 Goldymarg bad. I don't care if it's a plastic and vastly overpriced toy. Will have to see if I can score the GX-68 first though. Don't watch the anime if you don't want to have to buy the "accessories". Ugh, Star parts I hear you calling from the future episodes. I love that Goldymarg's AI is based off the Sergeant. I would buy a Volfogg, Enryu and Hyoryu(hoping they could combine into ChoRyuJin) as well if they made SoC versions. This is an awesome anime that I am shocked escaped my attention. Please tell me there aren't any more robots being introduced but I guess I don't have to worry about that as I know the SoC line and have seen nothing else from GaoGaiGar.
