What did you guys/gals think of the Gao Icarus review? Do you want more or less pictures and dialog?

Been a while since I read it. Looking at it again, it's a pretty good review. I like the inclusion of the background section, nice to put some context around the toy before looking at it. Not really worried about the Gao Rangers plot, try as I might I just can't get into Power Rangers (never seen it before it's been dubbed and edited in the US). I wouldn't say drop it though, when it's in its own section I can choose to skip it if I want. Who's going to say no to more pictures? If there's one thing I like it's links to specific pictures in the review text, just to tie them together. It's not a big concern, it can just make things easier if you can pop-up an image as you're reading the review. Still it must be a good review it persuaded me that I wanted to get one. Admitedly I took the cheaper route and got the Wild Forces Deluxe Isis Megazord. Hmm, maybe I don't want to see more like that, it's just going to cost me money.

So you suggest putting hyperlinks in the text. Say like The Gao Armadillo and make that link to its picture? Good suggestion. Thanks. -Ed

Yeah, like they do on a lot of Rumbles on ToyboxDX. Like this one toyboxst.inwards.com/rumblizer/view.php?article_key=75 which made me buy a Dancouga. It's cool to be able to click through from the review to the image and relate the two. Definately as many pictures as possible though, that's the really important thing in my mind. If I don't have the toy then I like to see pictures of it, actually I like to see pictures of it even if I've got it.

admired the presentation of the review That is a very well crafted combiner robot toy. not much into animal rendered robos, though.

Very nice review!
That is one funky looking robot, but it's nice!
Though I have to agree, animal-bots don't have too high of an appeal for me.
