I'll start things of with the very first Sentai Robot, Battle fever J! ;D Battle Fever is the first Sentai series to use a robot. Battle Fever J is a non transforming mech but makes up for it with tons of weaponry. The toy is pure diecast except for the weapons.Its size may be small but its heavier than most recently released Sentai robots.

Do you notice differences between your Daidenjin (Japanese) and the Godaikin (U.S. version)?

No idea. my friend said the Jap and US Godaikin versions hardly had any difference except the packaging.I'll check that out for you. ;D
