At first my excitement level for this toy was lower than usual after seeing the mecha design online. My views on this bay chanegd however after opening it. This is one totally wicked robot!
Ok to start with, the Dekawingrobo is composed of 5 individual spaceship type components, Patwing1,2,3,4 and 5.
Individually, the Patwings arent that much of a sight to see seeing as how their designs aren't exactly sleek to begin with plus the lack of gimmicks (with the exception Patwing 1 Dekareds mech which has lghts and sounds)didn't add much to the coolness factor of the individual vehicles. Its combined form however is a different story.
To sum it up,Patwing 1 becomes Dekawings chest and main body, Patwing 2 becomes the arms, Patwing 3 becomes the legs while Pawing4 and 5 becomes the feet. The color of the Dekawingrobo totally compliments the SWAT theme of the mecha and the colors and how it was molded was excellently done.The head of the robot was made similar with the Dekarangers SWAT mode costumes where in he is molded to have a headgear similar to that of the rangers.
Dekwingrobo is armed with two large riffles which makes it more wicked and cool!!!! The riffles can be used by the Dekaranegr robo and YES you can interchange parts with them!
Dekawingrobo has a 2nd alt mode wherein he can transform into a huge gun. I thought this mode was like a space gun mode ala Shaider but I saw pics on the net where in the rangers were holding riffles which looked like the Dekawingrobo in gun mode so i presume the addition of this feature was just an added bonus for the toy.

All in all the Dekawingrobo is a must have for any Dekaranger fan. The color scheme and the quality of this robot is absolutely mind blowing! Its accuracy is very close to that of its Television counterpart. My only complaint is that the individual vehicle modes could have been designed to look better but other than that the toy gets an A in my book in terms of playability, quality and accuracy. ;D
