My contact in HK sent me pics of the new Ranger series - Mageranger (mah je ranger). He calls it the Harry Potter of Ranger series as they apparently use magic in the show (wizardry, not card tricks I hope). Check it out:  It's a pretty marked departure from their other stuff...looks pretty cool to me. j*ryu |

the mecha look nice. the megazord looks like a wizard, which is okay.

Oh, and just to quibble, the kana is "majirenjaa" and it's more like "Magiranger" in English... The full series name is Mahou Sentai Magiranger, so, er, Magic Taskforce MagiRanger?

Yep Magiking is a fantastic design, one of the best I have seen for absolutely ages! Have you lot seen Urkaiser yet, his zord mode is so cool! He looks like a Dark Evil Knight! It is a fantastic series for zords I feel!
